This store had very very little in selection, by far one of the worst I have been in. I don't know how they even stay open.

So this is my local "GNC" store that is literally, right down the road from me. I will stop in every once and a while for vitamins, collagen products, etc ... nothing to fancy but I do like to dabble in keeping a youthful appearance and utilizing supplements to help me feel as young as I look (wink!) Anywho, the few years I have been coming to this location, I am always greeted by staff at the store. I'm never looking on my own without someone helping me and explaining "this vs that" and its wonderful. There is one lady who tends to be there most times I visit and she is terrific. I don't know her name but she has dark brown hair and is usually at the register. This lady knows her stuff! Not only that, she is super nice and genuinely wants to help. The location is easy to get to with tons of parking. The store itself is small but unless you are looking for something super specific, I'm sure they have something you can use ... if not, I'm sure they will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. So, there you go. Short and sweet ... five stars for always being amazingly helpful, friendly and convenient for me!

I read Amada K.'s review and decided to check it out. Yes, they still advertise the diet stuff, however, I found out this is run by a Franchisee of GNC. She told me that Corp GNC requires them to have certain signage and promotional Items displayed "up in your face" I asked about losing weight and the owner asked me several questions to pinpoint how I would most comfortably be able to do this and then gave me several suggestions. When I mentioned not wanting to be sick from them, she was able to direct me to "types" of products (not specific products) that might work. She, of course mentioned, talking to my doctor first and that if I didn't like any product I could return it. (se pointed out the GNC refund policy displayed on a sign) She was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. I found her extremely nice and her customer service excellent! I was told about GNC's "Gold Card", a 20% discount on items in the store for the first week of each month. She however, said that she honors it ALL year long and that hospitality workers, police and firefighters get discounts without the card. While there I asked about none vitamin items, I was told they had some (such as the lip balms and such) but alot of the stuff you see in the corporate stores (massage chairs, exercise equipment, etc) sell very poorly and take up alot of space. I was told that she could order items for me if I did want something specific and would be happy to do so. All in all, I found this GNC very refreshing, informative, knowledgeable, attentive and to have wonderful customer service.

I still don't like it...but... I recently decided to revisit GNC and see if my hatred towards the health food store was warranted. And honestly, alot of the stuff that bugged me then, still bugs me now. However, I did see some things at this GNC that I did like. Perhaps it is due to the fact that this GNC is bigger and has more stock? I don't know. The Good: Body Care stuff: One thing that I saw that I hadn't seen before was body care items. Things like lip balm and foot scrub. The stuff was over-priced, as you might expect, but I was happy to see something othat didn't have "TEH FAT BLOCKAR!!!" pasted all over it. The Bad: Diet Pills Suck: I really get nauseous every time I see a place that pushes diet pills. Did you know those things can kill you? They make your heart beat faster and can give you hypertension. So why would a "health and wellness" store sell them? I just don't get it. This has (and looks to remain) my chief complaint of GNC, and I really just can't plunk down any money until they stop pushing these SO hard. I mean I don't mind if they sell them...Publix sells them for crying out loud. But when you walk in you are bombarded by posters and displays advertising these "great" diet pills, and to me it is just sickening. Overall 6.0/10
