Just an empty desk. Blake claims to be there, he must be invisible. Airport Dodge called in a rental for me. Waited and waited and waited. Finally called Dodge, who in turn called Hertz and Blake insisted he was there. Apparently myself and the other 3 gentleman waiting at an empty desk are lying according to Blake the invisible ghost.

Called an hour ahead to confirm and told him I was coming. .....still had to wait over 20 minutes for a car. with no customers around. Anthony didn't care....went on break. Will never rent here again!! and the time of the pics was 2:30 pm!!!

They scammed me never rent with hertz through uber. There is a reason they never pick up the phone for butler national drive nor do they have a website for that location it brings you here instead so I left this review. I rented with them for ten weeks through uber because they promised me a free week on the 10th week, they overcharged me many times extending my rental each week saying it's a deposit and I'll get it back when I return the car.After ten weeks someone told me they put it in the computer system and I won't have to make a payment. They lied to me, because someone came and literally took the car off my property saying if I didn't let them take the car it will be reported stolen. They literally sent someone to take the car like a repo.Can you believe that? They are liars who overcharged me and scammed me out of a free week rental after ten weeks.

DespicableThey didn’t answer the phone and the voicemail goes to “someone whose voicemail hasn’t been set up yet”. Car renting is a giant Ponzi scheme

Their Hertz Uber portable up the street won’t accept reviews so I’m writing here. Jerell and Isabel and others are phenomenal people and very professional and patient. From the moment I came in to pick up my Tesla reservation, all questions answered, then I had to exchange the next day as the AC wasn’t blowing cold air. Isabel put me in a NEW Tesla in less than 20 minutes once I sat with her. I could get used to working with this Hertz team! Thanks for partnering with them Uber.

Rented lg sedan hr n the trip interior lights came on bck door sensor lit up car alarm sounded kids n the backseat on hwy doin 70 pulled over check doors proceeded it kept repeating 4 9 hrs called Hertz explained problem Im a female traveling wit kids anxiety is high told by Hertz 2 exchange car upgrade would b given go 2 Hertz @ airport 2 hrs out of our way given a smaller car n the car:family, luggage we have lost hours off our vacation only 2 b met by a short temper attendant tht had no interest n hearing the issue but was happy 2 talk 2 his Boo on his cell ab arrangements tht nite we arrive @ our destination @1140pm hungry tired headache & teary eyed a day of our vacation lost 2 b a Gold member the disregard tht I was shown not worth the anxiety tht I endured I will tell anyone tht I kno tht rents from this company of this experience we now have to cramp 3 big kids luggage & the drivers n a car so small tht is unsafe due 2 the child n middle back seat not being able fasten the seatbelt learned a valuable lesson status of Gold or loyalty means nothing to this company

Never again. Online reservation for less than $500 became almost $1200 at the counter at Orlando International. The agent seemed shady even told us gas in Orlando was over $5 a gal even though it was barely over $3. Hertz practices are about as shady as I have seen from the second we arrived at the sales counter. Ended up canceling and renting from Sixt and were super happy. Rather than $700 in hidden fees there were only about $200 which the agent told us about up front.

Wow just got a response from a customer Rep on a Telsa we rented last weekend to visit our daughter and husband in Orlando. Horrible experience for us but I actually thought they would attempt to make it right. ROACHES in the car......car locked up with codes so I couldn't access glove box...spent hours look for a place with right adaptor to charge the car. Wish I had read the reviews.......looks like this is common.

Response from Hertz. As expected, the car was indeed put back into rotation. Really vile of this company to take the "our word against yours" route when there is a clear history of roach infested cars being given to customers. A simple google search would back that. If I'm lying about the situation, why give me a partial refund, acknowledging my customer experience?:After a thorough review we are unable to determine there were roaches in the vehicle rented to you. The vehicle has also been rented several times before your rental as well as rented since you returned it and there haven't been any reported issues by customers or our staff who clean the vehicles. As we are unable to substantiate your complaint we respectfully decline your request for compensation. I can confirm the refund of $44.70 was processed to your credit card on 05/22/23 but can take up to 7 days to post to your account.While I understand this is not the outcome you were anticipating, I hope you will respect our position on this matter as we consider it having been fully addressed.

ROACH INFESTATION TWO YEARS IN A ROWWe rented a newer car in hopes of not repeating last year's roach infestation. Sadly we found a dead roach in our first Tesla before leaving the lot. We were switched into another Tesla and when we arrived to our destination I put in two roach motels overnight. In the morning the traps had collected a handful of roaches each. As it was Easter weekend we didn't reach customer service until Saturday. To try and make the car drivable I used a bug fogger two days in a row and in conjunction with more roach motels. The roach motels still caught live roaches after each fogging. After returning a replacement car we picked up locally the agent we brought our concerns to said it's a known issue with all the rental companies at that location due to a shared overflow parking area located on a grass field where the roaches live. She also started they fog the cars but it's a losing battle since the cars aren't cleaned properly and they are a food source for the roaches. The Orlando airport has a serious roach infestation problem that is unacceptable.

My cost at the time of booking was around $500 and somehow I ended up paying about $500 extra at the pick up time. 30 people in line with 3 people working at the counter. The car smells weird. Look for a better option elsewhere.

I had a problem with Hertz stating that I did not return a car, when I had. After many calls to get this corrected I wanted to speak with someone at the Orlando Airport where I rented the car to make sure the problem was corrected.I spoke with Kathryn at the Hertz Marriott in Orlando and she was the most helpful person I had encountered. It was not her job to check on the car, but she did anyway. She asked if she could call me back when she was in a location where a computer was and she actually called me back. She verified the overdue charges were being reversed. There is too much criticism and not enough compliments. I wanted to make sure the Kathryn was complimented and I hope her manager and the managers manager reads this. You need more people like Kathryn.

Help! We spent over $500 to rent a car for 6 days for our vacation. We went out to start our car on the second day and we could not unlock the doors or start the car. We have missed our dinner reservations and a specialMeeting with our family as we waited on the line for 42 minutes to get someone to answer at Hertz (after trying to reach customer service on line through Hertz.comm(to no avail) and after trying 6 different telephone numbers (two customer service numbers are no longer in service.). You have no way to speak to anyone in customer service. We finally got through to roadside assistance (since we're stuck in a parking lot out of state) snd it took 42 minutes in hold to get through. Now we're told they will send a tow truck to get the car started but we have to drive 30 minutes to get to the nearest Hertz rental store to exchange the faulty car that was provided to us. This is THE WORSE service/customer service I have ever experienced! I am beyond upset. We've been waiting in this care for 90 minutes now with no help....I will NEVER use Hertz again and I will be sure that I warn anyone about our experience. It was absolutely terrible.
