Overall positive experience. I rented my car from MCO and was scheduled to return it to this location (Renaissance Hotel). I brought it in the morning, but there was no one at the desk. There was a sign stating that the agent was away, and there was a number provided to call. I called, and the agent told me he was at another hotel, and that he would be back in about 1 hour. He kindly suggested I leave the key with Valet people. I did (with a tip). I called back in an hour to check, and the agent said everything was fine and he sent me an email confirmation afterwards. Professional and friendly guy, wish I remembered his name (12/23, about 10am). My only advice is to call before dropping off your car, in case you have questions, or are in a hurry.

I was stolen by Hertz! I rented a car in this location, a big hotel next to Seaworld Orlando, and would return in Statesboro GA. I was charged around 400 $ but after returning in time, despite of I had to go to 2 wrong locations (neither Hertz website nor Google in general had the current address which is the Marriot hotel in Statesboro) I returned the car but no receipt or anything was given to me, the clerk woman just received the keys and told me that an email with the invoice was coming to my email. The fact is that a week later I received an invoice for 1058 $ !!! over 600 dollars more, and that invoice stated that I returned the car 3 days later! That's a nonsense. I went to the Statesboro location and they blamed the Orlando location, and just told me that I had to call Hertz, I called Hertz and they told me that in 3 days I was going to receive an email with the answer, 10 days later I called again and they told me that the case is still open and I needed to wait 5-7 business days to receive an email.... and my credit card was charged and I'm paying interested for this excessive amount!! I am really considering suing Hertz if they don't come back to me with a satisfactory solution and give me my money back including the interests that the bank is going to charge me if they don't reverse that unfair charge off my credit card.

Wow the worst last minute rental ! This was literally the worst experiences my fiancé and I have ever had with hertz and he is a President Circle Member !!! Not only was the car not ready but it was funky like it had been smoked in and it was our only option for a car that was “ready”. Honestly I expect more from Hertz. From the reviews maybe it is the location, maybe it was an oversight but I will be filing a complaint !

Worst car rental experience ever. I went with Hertz because of their reputation for customer service?’c but I was truly misguided. Got here to pick up my car and the clerk says I have to have the credit card that I booked it with to get the car. He can’t rerun the entire transaction with a different card. So I come back with the card the next day, during posted business hours (not lunch) and wait and wait and wait. Nobody knows where this guy is. The hotel managers keep saying 5 more minutes, giving artificial hope. We wait for over an hour and a half. We call Hertz and all they say is that they can cancel and refund our money, but they can’t match our rate at a different location, but we’d have to pay the going rate at the other location. Which of course, last minute car rentals are expensive plus we’d have to get all the way across Orlando (without a car) to get it. So we are going with a different company and paying a ton more. And this wasted a day of our vacation and caused us a lot of stress. Very disappointed.

Reserved a vehicle 2-days in advance with a very poorly trained clerk who was more focused on what he couldn't do for me. On the date of rental a vehicle was brought from another location; arrived 20-minutes after the reservation time; the clerk made a big deal about taking photos of the exterior of the vehicle, and when I drove away I noticed one of the tires was down 13 psi below the other 3-tires. So I found a service station and filled the tire with air. 2-blocks later the tire had lost 4-psi. When I returned to the desk there was no attendant, so I called the phone # posted on the desk and the clerk informed me he was 45 minutes away and he had no replacement vehicle. When I pushed to speak with a manager I was told he would speak with the manager & call back within 15 minutes. 20-minutes later I was told to go to the airport to swap the vehicle. The woman at the airport was very professional and swapped the vehicle within 5-minutes, but I began a 3-hour trip 90-minutes after scheduled time. WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD. Poor training! No concern for customers! Managers hide behind clerks with no ability to solve a customer's problem. I will NEVER use HERTZ again!

Kari was so helpful! She greeted us and made us feel so comfortable with our rental. She also welcomed us to the area and gave us great recommendations of where to go for entertainment and food. She took pride in her work and really made us feel appreciated and that she wanted to help. Customer service is her #1 goal and she definitely achieved that with us.

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a car with Hertz. The representative "helping" me was texting on his personal phone the majority of the time, which delayed the process even more. It took 30 minutes for me to get my vehicle and I was the only one there. He could not and did not provide me with a printed rental agreement and when I got the car it had zero gas in it along with a cigarette smell and ashes throughout. Overall, the customer service was terrible and it made me an hour late for work (after getting gas).

First time renting and they took me for a spin! I rented a car for one day I tried to rent through expedia. I finally get to Florida and go to pick up the car. The guy at the counter was nice but there was an issues with the credit card I used to reserve my car with so I ended up using my debit card. Hertz charges a $200 holding fee that will be "returned" after 3-5 business days ok fine. The total rental on my receipt is technically around $9 because they gave me a voucher for the amount I had originally paid on Expedia. Great right, everything is going well we go out to the car. It is COVERED in love bugs and the paint is chipping on the bumper....I'm like ok...I forgot you had to go around the car and note all the issues but the guy also didn't offer to do that either. He just vacuumed the inside and handed me the keys, I was late so I just drove off. When I returned it the next morning he just says great have a nice day, no receipt. I get back to my hotel and I find out 3 hours later that I have an extra $100 charge on my debit card. I call the company and they tell me they only see the $200 hold and not the $100 fee. Then the person on the phone directed me to an email where I can send my claim because she couldn't help me. I'm going back the guy tomorrow to have a chat but this is some BS. Lesson learned I will be renting somewhere else or I will bring my own car on trips. Worst experience ever.

My boyfriend and I were taken care of really well. Although the rental car wasn’t ready right away, Miguel made sure to make up for it. The whole process was fairly quick, and we were re-imbursed completely for our Lyft ride from the airport. Miguel was very helpful overall, and assured us the best deal possible.

If there was a 0 stars, I would use that.. 9am car hire time, it's now 11.49am with no pickup from their service desk from nearby hotel. Rang more than 5 times, with no one being able to resolve. Never book with them.. You will be cancelling your days reservations and sitting in a hotel lobby waiting for your transfer to car pick up site. The only info I was told, was that there is one person at the pickup location dealing with customers there, and also picking up customers from other locations.. The most inefficient service, especially on the day before christmas

Was there today at 4:50pm. I had a date for picking up my rental car, that I had booked online, at 5:00pm, but nobody was there. I'd also tryed to called her 20 times, no answer.

The worst experience ever! The day before my road trip I went in to pick up the suburban I reserve two weeks prior and after waiting over 30 mins they tell me “we don’t have the truck” and when I ask for other options she told me all the had was a 25 passenger van. They couldn’t find one at any other location, they never called me the morning of or day before to tell me this bad news, they waited to I showed up to let me know.
