Made an appt for a rabies vaccine for a dog I just acquired then an appt for her to get a grooming service the next day. When I spoke to the person in the grooming salon she told me that it has to be 24 hours after the rabies vaccine to go to the groomer and since it was only like 20 hours she said it could not be done that day. Ok fine but she way she handled it was so crappy. She was so quick to cancel it. Didn't offer an appt another day or anything. When I said I would just go somewhere she sounded so happy to cancel the appt, get me off the phone and not reschedule. It was so obvious that she wants as little business as possible and couldn't care less about animals. I made an appt at Persmart for the same service for HALF THE PRICE. they do require 48 hours but that is fine. So they got my business instead of this place. That's what happens when you hire children. You lose business and get nasty reviews like this one.

I only know the doggie side of the store. Quite a few brands for wet and dry, dog food and refrigerated food. The aisles are well stocked wide and well lit. The staff is friendly.

Today was a special day, walked in to just get cat food with my daughter and ended adopting a new child pet, a beautiful Black Moor Goldfish that we named "Coco". Love at first sight ?. I am very thankful for "Josh" at Petco who provided exceptional service, answered all my questions, gave me step by step instructions to setup my new 10 gallon tank, educated me on how to take care my tank and fish. Also, helped me select the right shampoo for my dog "Kiwi" and essentials for "Coco". He defenetly when the extra mile to make sure I had everything for my pets. He is very knowledgeable in his field and attentive to everyone who came around. Thank you Josh.

First - i’d like to highlight Emily, who groomed my dog was amazing and she treated who with care and put her at ease despite how anxious this can be for most pets. She’s fantastic and had she worked at another location, I would see her again.This review is for who ever works the front desk and the manager who helped me that day.It’s pretty misleading to be quoted a price online and not be what you pay when you leave (or even noted that there may be additional charges at checkout) when I dropped off my dog, the receptionist simply asked me for my vaccines and to sign for emergencies. No one explained to me what additional charges there would be if they needed to brush her for a few more minutes.She was not matted or had extremely long hair. I believe every guest should know what they are paying for and be informed when an additional charge will be applied or at least call if there needs to be one.When I brought this up to the manager she had a terrible attitude and obviously did not want to assist me with emphasizing that it’s what I signed for (which no one mentioned the additional charge I was assuming it’s what I booked!) and stating with a rude look that she’s going to do it this one time.She did not empathize with me, apologized that it wasn’t explained and when I even mentioned if they could assist she immediately shut me down until I went back and forth about it (completely showed no compassion and btw this was my FIRST time grooming with Petco so how am I supposed to know any of this or how it works) I am a manager myself and sometimes all a customer would like is for someone to listen, provide respectful feedback and be treated with respect. Not feel like you are nagging for a discount (which I could care less, it was simply the fact that they could add charges without disclosing any of it to you).With that being said, I will not be going to this location anymore. PetSmart charges alot less or support your local groomers who actually need it!

I went to pick up an order placed online and, although there was only one person at the register, I was quickly taken care of. The store is centrally located and even if not the largest one in Orlando it still had the items I wanted to purchase in stock (vs the closer one to me at Millenia). Also, it took them less than an hour to send me an alert that my order was ready for pick up. Very efficient overall.

Bro idk who was the person that helped but that man deserves a RAISE!!! i’ve recently found this kitten, and i could not get this baby to eat, tried just about EVERYTHING. this baby also had fleas, and once again could not get rid of them, but thanks to this god sent man he pointed me to this kitten food, and this flea shampoo and medicine. and HE ATE IT AND HAS NO MORE FLEAS. bro is doing gods work and deserve the world

I'm new to aquariums and didn’t know where to start. Everything I read or watched seemed conflicting. We went to a local fish store to get supplies to get started as well as clarity/advice and they weren’t all that helpful. We happened to be in Petco a few days later grabbing things for our dog and decided to browse their aquarium section. Nestor was in the area helping another customer and ended up giving us more and better advice and direction than we’d gotten anywhere else. We’ve gone back to him to get our fish now that our tank is cycled and we will continue to shop at Petco as long as he’s there and in charge. It’s clear he's passionate and knowledgeable about the hobby and that the fish are well cared for.

Bought natural balance dogfood at Petco and it was infested in bugs. Granted, my wife bought it in August and we stored it in kitchen in its sealed bag. Manager refused any kind of credit at all. So my wife left store and will never shop there again. Short sighted manager and policy.

I'm giving a 3 based on the fact that they were open. Their inventory is scarce, about half the store is lit and it stinks. It's not pet urine, more like wet mold.
