I’ve visited this store three times now because their online inventory shows the product in stock, only to arrive and be told it’s unavailable. Meanwhile, half the staff just stands around. You’d think they would at least ensure their inventory counts are accurate.

I usually don't do negative reviews but I am so sick of going into that store which I'm in there quite a bit they ask you if you need help you tell them no but they still insist on following you to where you're going picking out what they think you're looking for instead of listening to what you have to say then you go home with the wrong part and end up having to go somewhere else to get the right part because you don't want to go back in there because at this point you're already fuming because they didn't want to listen to you in the first place and dismissed what you had to say.. It is a store full of men that obviously think women don't know what to get when they walk in there because this happens every single time I come in there. I'm just saying it's not that hard to pick out a nut and bolt when you have a nut and bolt in your hand.

I normally don’t go out of my way to post reviews but this one had to be done. I purchased the wrong product for the project I was working on. I returned it within 15 days with a physical receipt and all original packaging. When I went to return it, the older gentlemen with glasses basically laughed at me and through the receipt at me. Terrible customer service and horrible experience. I hope he isn’t a manager. Normally when I come in, the staff is friendly and helpful but this guy was awful. Apparently his name is PK. Maybe I’m spelling it wrong or it’s an abbreviation. He needs to be retrained or work on his manners.

I went in to buy a door latch, they gave me the price which gave me sticker shock verbally, so one of the employees asked me if I bought any food or gas lately which replied yes. I bought the item, left the store and discovered I locked my keys in the car so I went back in and they were overly unhelpful or sympathetic to my situation. A kind gentleman out in the parking lot helped me get into my car, after that I returned the door latch and left. I've been going to this store since it was built and opened, the whole episode just didn't feel right. I will not be back to visit them.

I needed some nuts for my storm shutters.
A younger guy inside did a great job.He knew what size I needed.
He was very friendly and I was in and out with the right thing in three minutes.

Purchased a Powermate Portable Inverter Generator (9400 Watts) in preparation for Hurricane Milton. While doing PMCS, I noticed it was leaking fuel. They will not accept the return nor offer any sort of help.

So October 5th 2024 about 5 minutes ago I was looking for help finding a bolt, the bolt I had I dropped because I have no feeling in my hands which is still lost near the cash register 😳!
I started looking around for it on the floor and needed a flashlight which I used because and returned to its proper place! I leave and Larry a true value representative follows me out ? He asked me if I found what I was looking for? And asked me about the flashlight?
I go back into the store to tell a personal acquaintance ( True Value Representative) I will not be back because Larry accused me of stealing the flashlight? He says he didn't accuse me of stealing and followed me out of the Establishment and asked me about the flashlight? If that's not an accusation ? Then I definitely am taking my business elsewhere!

As I live close by, I shop here frequently when needing items. As a single female homeowner, the staff there are very knowledgeable and helpful. Several times they have even recommended to me lower cost items from what I thought I had needed. Although their prices, of course, are slightly higher than big box stores, the extra cost is worth the convenience and most importantly the assistance of the staff.

That white older lady that works the cash register is passive aggressive if you ask to many questions. All I asked is how the rewards system works because they always ask me for my phone number. So unprofessional. The funny thing is while I m walking in, someone walk by on the outside said they don't go there any more because of a bearded white dude with a cap that works or worked there told him he don't like his kind. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!!!!
