Founded by Jerry Lapin, Al Lapin, and Albert Kallis in July 7, 1958, it specializes in breakfast-style foods while also offering (since the 1980s) a menu of lunch and dinner items. IHOP has around 1650 locations spread in between the United States, Canada, the Middle East and is still expanding to many other small regions of the world. The franchise has a minimum operating time - Sunday to Thursday from 7AM to 10PM and Saturdays from 7AM to 12PM. The parent company that holds the IHOP brand is DineEquity.
