Adam and his crew were amazing! They turned around my son's LS3 in no time and the work was exceptional. There rates were very reasonable too. The drive from Crestview was well worth it.

I dropped my 390 Ford FE to be completely rebuild with some performance upgrades. Everything seems to be done in a reasonable time frame and reasonable cost. I'm happy and had a great experience.

Dropped off a SBC350 to be cleaned and prepped for rebuilding, and they clearly didn't oil it before putting it on the shelf and waiting two weeks to call me. Picked up the motor with SURFACE RUST IN EVERY SINGLE CYLINDER. Phenomenal work gents!

Took the first engine I have ever rebuilt to Car City to get work done. I made it pretty clear that I had never done anything deeper than an oil change before and could have been met with better customer service. The guy at the front begrudgingly worked with figuring out exactly what I was bringing him and what work I was getting done even though I couldn't tell him exactly what it was that I needed done because I was starting from scratch with a junkyard short block.
The block I took them was not in the greatest shape. I'm pretty sure I asked for it to be decked but was not charged for it nor was it done. Even if I didn't ask, to have some help with my first project and even if it felt like upselling on services, to know I'd have a good product to start an engine build with when I walked out of there would have been better than feeling like work still could be done. Block was not hot tanked or cleaned in any way, another thing I would not have minded being upsold on, but it's my first engine and didn't know what I didn't know.
What was estimated for 3 weeks took 8 and was only told it was done when I reached out to ask the progress of it and was told it is ready to be picked up. The work that was done to it looks good, pistons fit well for the bore we decided on. Heads were hot tanked and valve job looks solid. Just could have had a better product and a better experience in many areas.

Staff are rude, they lose parts or do not return all parts intact. Then tell you you are on your own to get the parts they lost. Absolute garbage do not recommend.Service: Engine repair
