The best bank to open an account for a small business, very proactive. The service that Fabian Bonilla gave us was excellent, very attentive and kind. Thank you Fabian!

The worst, horrible, TERRIBLE, service I have ever received in my life, they told me I had to wait an hour and a half but I couldn't leave the place, I said, ok fine, I'll wait! An hour and a half passed and nothing, then another person approached me to tell me that in “5 minutes” they would call me… I arrived at 12, which means that at 1:30 they had to have called me, after “5” more minutes. , it was 1:40, 1:50 and at the end it was 2pm and nothing... I know I went without an appointment but I waited the time they told me, I shouldn't have waited any longer when 3 people arrived after me and immediately They attended when they told me that they had the agenda and it arrived that after an hour and a half they could attend to me, so why attend to 3 people before my waiting time... do not play with people's time if you clearly see that they cannot or do not have the staff or the time, it is preferable that they say THERE IS NO AVAILABILITY ALL DAY !! and so one looks for another location!

Today, I had the worst experience at Bank of America with racism; the person who attended the reception, Daniel, began in his supposedly professional manner to ask my husband's father for documents, asking him if he had a passport.
He answered yes, then he told him he had social security, and he said yes, but I don't have the card with me, but I remember my number. Then Daniel asked him if he had another proof of identification. My father-in-law showed him his driver's license from the other state and said I needed proof of residence to open a savings account for you.
He told us to wait with his unprofessional way of letting him speak when we asked something because we didn't understand why they asked us so much.
He approached again and asked my father-in-law for his passport and said are you a citizen and my husband's father said yes, and Daniel changed his face and said oh, are you a citizen? It would help if you had told me that from the beginning.
MY QUESTION IS: How is it possible that a bank professional assumes that someone is not a citizen just because of the color of their skin, for not being white, and the most illogical thing to say a comment that his wife is Colombian?
I was annoyed by the racist treatment we received from Daniel. We asked for a change in customer service, but we had no desire to continue working with this bank agency, so they didn't professionally serve my father-in-law.
And the most ironic thing is that we have been clients at that bank for over 10 years. It's sad to know that in this day, there is such racism among Latinos or spouses of Latinos.
It was a horrible experience, especially with that agency. I write this so that you are not surprised at how you can be treated out of racism and by just one person who leaves little to be desired in a bank that, in my experience, has never had any problems; they have always been polite and professional, I was surprised by this poor treatment towards my husband's father who, worse still, is an older adult, almost 70 years old and only wanted to open a savings account because he is going to start living here in Florida. Logically, he needs to put his money in an account, and we are speaking wonders of the bank, telling my father-in-law that it is a good bank and that we have never had problems.
Sad situation.

Today, I had an appointment to open an account with my son Joane at the front desk was very kind and friendly, then Alberto helped us with everything that we needed, he had excellent customer service, he advised us, he gave us good tips to take care of our account and he was always very kind, helpful, knowledgeable about the product, he treated customers excellently and was a very kind guy. Thank you, and congratulations to this employee who raises the name of the bank.. 5 🌟 to him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 👌.

The agency is very nice and clean, the problem lies in the quality of the attention provided by the staff. They are not fast nor are they attentive to the client, with very long waiting periods even though there are no clients serving them 🤷🏼♀️

Visited this Br. to request a fairly lg withdrawal. I was told it must be transacted via a cashier's ck. No problem. I was then given a blank withdrawal form to complete in its entirety, and she asked for my driver's license. I inserted my ATM card into the apparatus and keyed my pin number. After doing so, she asks me 3 different times was the withdrawal coming from my Trust account. I thought the ATM card, w/ pin, was associated with ONE specific account, ONLY. I answered, "yes." Honestly, I was surprised she referred to the savings acct. as a Trust account because I'd requested the change earlier that morning @ the BOA near the Galleria -- which I expressed to her. She then asks me why did I not make this withdrawal while there? What a question to ask!! Did she not want to wait on me? Did she not want my business? She then tells me she was going to send me a text & I must now tell her the code from the text. I commented it was a good thing I had my cell because I usually do not have it. She then lectures me by stating I should carry it at all times because an emergency may arise. Since I am single, w/o any children, & my parents are deceased, the chances of me receiving an emergency call are nil (of course she did not know that). But, why was I going through the 3rd degree w/ her? I digress. She then asks me to verify the last 4 digits of my cell phone number. Why must I do that? Send me the text and I'll give you the code. She then stated she will call the Mgr. over to have her to confirm. At this point, I'm incensed because I'm feeling as though I am some sort of criminal. The Mgr. arrives & I erroneously gave the last 4 of my SSN instead of my cell. They looked at each other like "let's call the cops." I then realized my error and recited my entire cell phone number. Had the teller simply explained that I was being taken thru these hoops for my protection, beforehand, maybe I could have been more prepared and receptive to the shakedown. Then the Mgr. says, "I'll stay w/ you because I have to sign it anyway." Honestly, this was simply too much drama for a basic withdrawal from my savings acct. It's raining profusely outside and the teller asks if I wanted an envelope for the cashier's check. Really??? First impressions are lasting-- I will NOT be returning to this Br.
