We took our 2008 Acura MDX here after going to another shop that we soon realized had people that didn't want to be there and didn't know how to work on cars. We took it to Jon, the difference was night and day, his shop was clean, the workers seemed motivated to work and it seemed Jon had a ton of experience... he suggested it was a couple of things that were making the AC not run properly, we listened to him and let him work on it. We picked it up, happy as ever because it was actually cold when we got there. Upon driving to Miami to pick up my 6 year old son, my AC had the same exact problem as before and then froze up, again. We proceeded to bring it back to Jon because we were still confident in his work and he proceeds to point out the things that are working in the AC, then proceeds to tell us to "feel the temperature" when it still wasn't cold, telling me "you said its warm and it's not warm" well if it's not cold then what do you call it? He proceeds to go inside and grab an already written check to give us back our money. It seems like he just isn't as intelligent as he seems, it must just be a shop where you go for a basic fix because this guy obviously had no intention on taking the car in again to try and fix the problem. Well he quite obviously didn't want to take the car in again because he didn't even bother to bring it into his open bay, he checked the gauges while we were all having to stand in the rain. Like I said, If you want something simple then this is your guy, if you have any real AC work that needs to be done then go to an expert because this guy isn't one.

The temperature has had a heat index over 100 degrees for days, my AC went out in my Jeep. I called Jon and brought my Jeep in as planned. I dealt with Jon directly, he is a pleasant man, a true professional. Everything was fixed, no problems. If you need A/C work on your car, I highly recommend Jon's Auto Air!

Jon not only does great work at an extremely fair price but is also a pleasure to deal with. I brought in my 2016 Nissan Maxima that was blowing warm air and Jon suggested that we attempt the AC recharge first and depending on how that goes we'd determine the next steps. He was honest with me and told me that more than likely I would need a new compressor in the future. He was absolutely right and after replacing my compressor my interior now feels like a meat locker, a job extremely well done at a very fair cost compared to what I'd pay at the Nissan dealer. I highly recommend Jon and his team.

By far the best automotive A/C shop in the state. Jon is honest and fair priced with a quick turn around. His employee Adam is meticulous and personable. 5 stars for a service that is an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you Jon and Adam. Sending people your way.... Chris Minor Pompano Beach

In 2017 my 2006 Dodge Ram was having its first cooling issues. After reading several reviews from different repair shops I decided to try Jon's Auto Air. Upon my initial visit I spoke with Jon as he was preparing to test my a/c. As he stuck an electronic probe in my a/c vent he stated "It's usually the evaporator" and confirmed it a few seconds later. I thought it odd that he could diagnose my whole system with one test. I went inside and was quoted $1200 for the repair. I agreed and left my truck at the shop. Later that day I went to pick it up. As I pulled away with my a/c blowing 45 degrees I was in heaven! About a year and a half later the a/c stopped cooling again. Having exceeded Jon's warranty and discouraged from trusting another a/c shop, I suffered for over two years while saving enough money for another attempt to repair it. I called a Dodge dealer at the end of 2020 knowing it would be more expensive, but I figured they had more resources available to properly diagnose my a/c issues. Unfortunately because of pandemic restrictions, they were understaffed and it would be weeks before it could be looked at. So back to the reviews I went. Once again Jon's Auto stood out. I promised myself that if Jon told me another evaporator was needed I would thank him and go my separate way. So in March 2021 I once again went to Jon for his diagnosis. This time using the same electronic test he stated " It's your condenser". As we looked at my engine I commented on how I might as well change the other components(compressor and accumulator) at the same time so everything would be new and surely fix the issues. Jon agreed it wouldn't hurt. Once again I agreed to another $1200 repair. In February 2022(11 months later) I went back to his shop after loosing all the freon in my a/c system. This time I took my neighbor to observe and listen. I asked Jon in front of my neighbor if he could try another method like a dye test and he replied "I could but I don't like to. Bring it back next week and I'll take another look at it". My system was refilled with Freon and I left. My neighbor wondered why Jon wouldn't try another method to fix my a/c which was suspicious to both of us. The next week I dropped off my truck to Jon. He called within a couple of hours to say once again it was my evaporator. I explained that I had spent $2400 and had no more money. His reply was "I know your are hurting for money right now so I'll fix it for $450 but can't guarantee how long it will last". Really? I'm supposed to trust this guy for a third time. I thanked him but denied the repair and went to pick up my truck once again refilled with freon. It is now March 2023 and as of this past week my a/c is blowing 75 degrees inside my truck with the outside weather in the low 80's! In conclusion here are my honest opinions of Jon's Auto A/C: I paid $2400 for a/c repairs that were never fixed properly. It was very obvious there was a small leak in my a/c system but Jon was too stubborn to use another method but instead chose to guess at my expense! That electronic probe is not fool proof! He knows that with the freon filled it takes several months to leak out. Bye this time the customer has paid their bill and is long gone! What a racket! Jon also told me one time that evaporators only lasted three years. That's bullshit! I asked Jon why my first evaporator lasted 11 years and he said I was lucky. I gave Jon every opportunity to be honest but he's not. The year warranty is also worthless because he will just tell you it's something else than the parts he just replaced. He confirms most people's opinions that most a/c repairmen are thieves. Jon you are playing a dangerous game with customers hard earned money. I'm glad I was able to pay your house mortgage for two months you douche bag!

Overcharged me on everything. Owner yelled at his employees for little to nothing and his wife was just as rude and could be compared to a female dog.

Over the past two years I have taken my f-250 to multiple mechanics for my A/C but it never was right. They changed almost every part sometimes twice. It seemed to help a little each time but I knew it could be better. I had a friend of mine that recommended Jon's so I took it to him. I could tell right away that he seemed to know what he was talking about. I dropped the truck off to him at 8am and by 10am he called to tell me it was ready. Turns out it was a Publix bag that got sucked up into the blower box. I picked it up and it was good as new. I couldn't believe it. He also didn't charge me a thing. Jon is an honest, genuine, good dude. He could've changed some part and charged me a grand and I would've been ecstatic and still left a good review for him. Mechanics like this are rare and hard to find. I wish he worked on more than air conditioning. I already have and will refer him to everyone and anyone.

Originally Jon did a good job on installing a Vintage air in my 89 K5 Blazer. It took them 1 month which is extremely slow. However, they got it to blow colder air than stock. I recommended him to many people, including a good friend. She brought her 2017 GMC SUV with 90K miles to Jon to repair the AC. He was less expensive than the dealer. However, they didn't realize the coupler from the Transmission had failed. So yes it did fail and my friends transmission lost all fluid and fried. Jon called me and explained what happened and said "It's on us and I have to cover it. These couplers fail and I should design a new one." So Jon tells me he is going to cover it and get her a rebuilt transmission from someone he uses. I said" Thank You Jon, that's very nice and honest of you." Well my friend went to pick up her SUV, and Jon asked her to "help" out with the 3K loss. My friend called me and I said "Absolutely NOT!!! He offered to cover it. So 10 minutes later I get a call from Jon. Me: Hey Jon, what's up? Jon: Why do you have to be suck a DICK?!! I said WHAT?!! Obviously pissed about having to cover 3K and asking my friend to cover 1K if she "felt like helping out." Trying to take advantage of a woman? Retracting your word? Long story short, that nice smooth talking Jon is a lying POS.

I had my AC start to die on me, and got several estimates for a new compressor, the most astounding one being $2k for the work from a national chain. I was referred to Jon by a coworker, who has worked with him and said he was fair, and honest. I took my car for an evaluation, and he did it so promptly, and fixed the issue the same day (which was NOT a compressor and instead the valve). I will definitely recommend Jon and his business, for his honesty, and quality of work!

Jon is very skilled and passionate about his craft, this was obvious from the moment I pulled in and he greeted me at the door. He does not "oversell" costly repairs that are not needed and explains in detail what is required to get the job done, at a fair price.

Jon auto air was a extremely awesome find. My car was no easy task as it is a classic from another country and Jon treated it with extreme care and respect. I would not take any other car anywhere else. This company is extremely fair honest and quite frankly a dream to deal with. Hopefully I will not have to be back soon but I know if I do have to go back my car will be in good hands.
