I was rear ended on I-95 during rush hour traffic a week ago. I had to get an estimate the next day as it was my Mothers car and I needed it repaired as soon as possible. I had been referred to Westside Paint &Body for being reasonable and reliable. As soon as I drove up to the shop, I felt a sense of peace and nostalgia. There were family photos on the walls and indeed upon speaking to Derriek the owner, it was a family owned business. I got a great quote and 4 days later my car was expertly repaired! I highly recommend Westside Paint and body repairs to your car.

A raccoon ran in front of my car and damaged the LHS of the front panel. I decided to support a black owned business and took my car to Westside Paint and Body to see Derrick in Pompano Beach, FL to get my car fixed. He fixed it within 15 minutes so he said. 2 days later I was driving my car home from work on the Florida Turnpike and the same side he fixed fell down and I almost had a bad car accident. I reached out to Derrick to let him know what happened and he refused to fix my car and said he didn't know what I did to the car. I paid cash. He was very rude and unprofessional about it. He (his shop) was the only shop that touched my car. I will never go to him again and I advise you to not go there either. Poor work, poor attitude, horrible job. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop.

terrible experience with them both “fixing” my car and then my boyfriends .. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone after we found out how they actually “fixed” our cars..

Had my bumper and hood repainted. Had to take it back twice because of the paint bubbling and chipping with a couple days. The workers left my car filthy inside with the dust. The owner was extremely rude, didn't want to acknowledge me,and told me that he basically did me a favor and my car wasn't worth anything compared to the other cars he repairs. Derrick is extremely obnoxious and has no respect for women. Once you have a problem with his service, he does not maintain his professionalism and gets upset when you call them out on their flaws. Not worth the price, repairs or agony. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.Service: Painting

Buck Phillips is only helpful to those he knows and are close with. I went to get a fender work done, I was given a price of $355 for my vehicle at first ( written ) I later came the next 2 weeks to do the job. When I arrive I showed the price he first gave me, but he still raised the price to $522… and that’s after I even removed my own bumper. I was in shock how the price went up and I made the labor even less. I then decided to buy my own fender to make the job less and just pay for install. I arrived the next 2 days after finding my fender for him to tell me the exact words “I don’t feel comfortable doing the job” and then he told me “go to where that place you know” with a little smirk on his face after telling him I found the fender. (Keep in mind I’m a college kid so any form of way to make the price less I would do, but he felt some type of way & in his feelings since I took initiative). I only returned after finding the fender to see the price he would give me, I already talk to another auto body who had me on schedule to pop up the next day, and so I got it fixed the next day for way less & a decent price. Customer service and experience was horrible.

Derrick re-beautified my black paint on my 2015 GMC Yukon! I couldn’t be happier with the end result. He’s an honest business owner and easy to communicate with. I really appreciate the kind of service and results he delivered. Strong recommendation for Westside Paint & Body for those in need! ?
