Forced to use by soccer club. Reservation erroneously canceled. No one to speak to with after hours.

Permission was never given to have my card charged at a higher rate. I am very confused on why this is being debated. It is not about the bottom of an email confirming a reservation that I never gave permission for. I actually called the Fairfield, before I booked my other hotel which was the only one I gave permission for. When I was told by them they had no reservation for me I then booked for my other hotel. Again I can not stress why the focus is on the hotel not being canceled and you charging my card an extra 45 plus dollars without permission? So please assist me in getting this refund. I also called the hotel, and they said since the reservation not in my name, they could not even make changes or discuss it with me.

If you make your reservation precisely as you want it to be the first time you'll probably be fine and won't have any surprises when you arrive at your destination. However, if you make a change request it's likely that they will approve your request and not update the hotel. I arrived at my hotel expecting to be booked for two nights but my change request was never recieved.

It would be more appropriate if I could give zero stars....If you are hoping to actually stay in a hotel after booking through Avanti then DO NOT book through them! After booking a room through them weeks in advance( for an upcoming soccer tournament), as well as receiving a confirmation e-mail and verifying my reservation the Friday before leaving I was told upon check in that there was NO reservation for my family and there were no rooms available. Due to multiple events in the same city we were, there were no hotel rooms available at any other hotels in the area, therefore, myself and my family were forced to sleep in our car that night. To make matters worse there was a fee showing on our credit card for the room!! I contacted Avanti directly on Monday morning and was given the run around for about a week and a half and finally was told by Bob, Whom I believe to be the owner, That it is NOT their responsibility and we would be getting NO compensation for sleeping in our car for the weekend. I am writing this review to save you from the "glitch" in their system!! You will be better off just booking on your own and dealing with the hotel yourself... save yourself the backache from sleeping in your car!!
