North Guana Outpost is a popular outdoor adventure spot with two locations on the Guana Preserve. It offers kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals and sales, along with guided eco tours, SUP Yoga, and full moon paddles. One location, Guana Outpost South at the GTM Research Reserve, provides rentals, bait, tackle, and gear to enhance your adventure, though it is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The other location is open every day. Visitors enjoy the scenic views and the chance to see wildlife during their outings. The night bio tour is highly praised for its magical experience of seeing glowing comb jellies and the stars above, with knowledgeable guides explaining the science behind the bioluminescence. The guides are attentive and make the experience informative and fun, with some recommending bringing a flashlight and wearing clothes that can get wet. The rentals and shop services have some minor issues, such as equipment not being perfectly secured or inconsistent opening hours, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience. The locations are easy to access, with a great entry point that has little traffic, making it ideal for exploring the Guana Preserve. Overall, North Guana Outpost offers a relaxing, scenic, and educational outdoor adventure for visitors of all ages.
Hayden was an awesome guide, he was very knowledgeable about all the many critters we saw.

Booked a few days in advance and did not regret it! Hayden is an excellent guide and is able to read the vibe of the group he’s in and adapt to it. The rest of the crew seemed really chill and relaxed. No corners cut—you get what you pay for with excellent service from kind staff. The dolphins were cool too.

Very awesome spot to gear up for fishing or to rent a kayak and explore the waterways nearby. Highly recommended ?
