My husband bought a Truck from him a month ago and we are extremely happy with it. Great truck at a very fair price. The owner Tony is friendly and easy to work with. The past reviews were for a different owner.
I highly recommend and will look at his inventory first when I am ready to replace my current car.

Anyone giving this guy a good review must be family or friend, or owes a favor! This guy is a crook, no integrity. Purchased vehicle, took for test ride, gas gauge was empty, attempted to fill & gas leaked under car, did not tell us gauge was broken and filler neck going into tank leaked, advised Jay of car on empty, he suggested we fill, Said it was probability a vent hole and gas backed up. We took car home, called Jay next day & suggested we bring back to have his mechanic look at it, I suggested he take money off so I can have another mechanic look at car and that it was obvious they knew it had a problem. he became agitated & hesitated, then he said you signed docs & purchased as is repeatedly, did not want to work with me at all and after his tantrum hung up on me. This person has no integrity during signing of docs we talked about my military family, shared stories! He’s full of himself, also told me to take care of truck and that if we were not happy with truck because of mileage & yr of truck he’d buy it back. This sneak even went as far as changing money owed on document, had to go back to correct document. He is not trustworthy, no integrity, takes advantage of the honest consumer. Stay away!!!

Very unprofessional told me one price when all said and done 1,000 difference in price will not negotiate at all vehicles don't even run wrong battery in the truck no maintenance done to the cars at all the truck I was looking at needed over 2,500 in parts and repair would not buy anything from this guy. My experience was horrible. Bought a vehicle here. Took it to get inspected and it had over $4000 worth of issues. Honestly there is so much that went wrong and I'm only writing this to hopefully spare someone from going through what I did. Look at the other reviews. This place, the owner, and the vehicles are horrible. You've been warned

I have purchased a Mercedes SL and a Corvette from them. Before purchase, they encouraged me to do a test drive and inspection from MY mechanic. There were no issues. Harbor Oaks wanted me to be comfortable that I was purchasing an excellent car. I liked their integrity, honesty and product quality so much that I asked if I could work there part time!

Buyer beware! We haven’t had to buy from a buy here pay here place in many years. We did everything we could to make sure it was a good buy.The employee named Jay, which I have on a recording, that if anything major happened within a week they would fix it. Well just so happen within four days we realize something was happening with the transmission . Day six we took it to a transmission place and sure enough that’s what it was. I told him about this problem and they wanted another estimate from their guy. Their guy said if we flush the transmission that it would fix it. So they did pay for that but it did not fix that at all. I told Jay about it and they said sorry there’s nothing we can do about it. They offered to pay for half of what it cost to rebuild the transmission but that is not what the agreement was supposed to be. We used all the money we had saved $4000, that they wanted for a down payment. So now I’m stuck with a car that three weeks old and needs a transmission. He was very rude to me very bad customer service!! Also you can never talk to the owner you always have to go through this guy

I bought a classic car from Harbor Oaks and dealt with Tony throughout the whole process. I paid extra for a classic plate that I requested but when the tag came into their office it was a regular, non classic plate. I asked Tony what was the deal with that and he just shifted blame to some imaginary other person. By the time that the plate came in I had moved out of state. I sent my brother in law over to get the plate but twice no one was at the lot. I called Tony and asked him to mail the plate to my Florida address but he didn't at first and when I spoke to him probably the tenth time later he said he was still waiting for my brother in law to come in. Well finally I drove fifteen hours, 935 miles to pick up the plate myself and Tony tells me when I confronted him in person that he mailed the plate. So I waited the last two days for my plate and it did arrive today. I can now drive back fifteen hours and 935 miles back home. I asked Tony about the $40 extra that I paid for the classic plate and again he said he'd have to see what the actual bill said. So what we have here is a liar, scam artist and thief. You decide for yourself that if you want to purchase your next car here. Oh and the classic car, the transmission gave out. Funny, Tony said the car drove great.

When I finally found the car i was searching for in Florida of all places, I thought how will I ever be confident in my purchase without seeing it in person and then have it shipped to California? Working closely with Rob from Harbor Oaks, the car was documented via phone and video to prove the quality and soundness of the vehicle. After agreeing to purchase it Rob helped in getting the car safely on the road to the west coast. The car has been great and so was my experience with Harbor Oaks. Five Stars, all around.
