Great small but growing event that compliments the small beach town atmosphere of Port Saint Joe...

We made it a point to stop on our way back home to Tennessee. There were a couple of items I wanted to check out before we left and we adjusted our schedule. I am glad we did. There were several booths set up with a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, baked goods, honey, artwork, home décor, and other things. We loved it and could have spent more than we did. We did purchase several items. Port St. Joe is a pet friendly community and it was great seeing people with their dogs. Most of the businesses set bowls of water outside their entrances for the thirsty canines.

We have always enjoyed visiting the Saltair Market. We love getting to know the fellow artisans and it's always exciting to see what new pieces neighbors are creating. There is a very eclectic community of artists that drift through PSJ. We are so blessed to take part ❤️

Very small selection. Needs to grow more. Maybe 15-18 booths. More handmade items than produce for sure. Very limited locally or even homegrown options. Three local grown tables with minimum selection. Two stands selling store bought produce. Literally watched a guy sell a lady a pineapple for $40. One pineapple! He convinced her he was making his own patent on being able to cut the top off of the pineapple and grow another one. Sad thing is she believed he was the only one that could do this and paid the $40 scammer.

The goods were a bit pricey but the people were friendly and the quality of goods are high. There were desserts made by older ladies. I bought delicious apple butter from her. Another lady sold home made bagels that were soooo good!!! She also made cinnamon rolls that are unbelievabley delicious! A few people sold honey and there was a lady fisherman selling fresh shrimp. I didn't buy any but would have if I had more money. I love supporting local businesses so I would love another event like this!!! ?

What a great little market to go to. Got the best tomatoes, great beef products, delicious cookies and awesome fresh shrimp last week! Happy to have this in our town.

This is something fun to do on a Saturday in Port St Joe. Local artists and craftsman are offering items, as well as food vendors, and crafty stuff. There was produce available, plus a fresh shrimp vendor. Easy access with parking available.
