The people who work there are the best. Jeremy originally came out to check my tank(if after 20 years to see if it was still in good shape) . Unfortunately, I start asking questions about my options of what I would be able to do if it was bad… We ended up discussing my choices and by the end of the conversation,,I chose to just get a new 250 gal tank. He is NOT their Sales person…. However as we sat on the grass and talked. he was so nice , explained my choices and was very informative. Then Wednesday I met the office staff ladies when I dropped off my deposit check. Again, each, and everyone of the girls was so pleasant and helpful.. The guys who replaced my tank came on Thursday and were amazing! What a hard job. Monday at 6:15AM the truck arrived and filled my tank!!!!!! What a smooth, easy process… Thompson Gas Company is exceptionally and has outstanding customer service. Sandra Deihl

I’m so disappointed in this company. I ran out of gas and canceled Easter because we couldn’t cook. (Totally on me) They sent out a technician the following Wednesday and he said he couldn’t fill their TANK because he didn’t have the correct connection. Now the tank belongs to Thompson, wouldn’t they know in their records what tank I had. Shouldn’t their techs be properly equipped to handle any and all tanks owned by them??? They came out Thursday to swap out the tank. Unfortunately I could not be home, my son stayed home and the technician explained that he could not hook up the tank because he wasn’t an adult, and while on the phone with my son, the technician PROMISED HE WOULD RETURN FRIDAY TO CONNECT IT. Well, guess what, NOBODY SHOWED UP. So then I talked to Manny, and initially he started saying that they could have recertified the LPG tank and then came back to say that they just can’t get here today to hook up my line to the tank. That’s all that has to be done. He didn’t even try to see if one of the technicians or the tech that promised, could come out today to connect it, so we could cook and enjoy postponed Easter dinner. I told Manny I would have had an adult at the house if that was needed and then he said it has to be a resident, when I asked why, he said to teach us how to turn off the emergency switch….geez, there is no emergency switch, you just turn the tank handle off. Gosh, what nonsense. I’ve been in the customer service industry for over 25 years and let me just say, I would have moved mountains or offered the service myself to a customer in need.

Our loyalty will remain with Thompson-Gas. With other companies we felt like a number. Their competitors gave little to no customer service or client respect. They often acted as if the service call was a bother. The moment I called Thompson Gas I knew I had reached our new supplier for propane. From the representative on the phone to the technician who arrived at our home, both were well informed on products, pricing and scheduling. Both went above and beyond to assist me. Kudos to you TG for embracing quality service and professionalism!!!
