The customer service here at this Home Depot is terrible, first they messed up my order giving me the wrong Milwaukee 12.0amp battery in the pick up boxes, when I went to the return desk the lady (Jan) helping me told me to get the right battery to exchange, in the 5min it took me to get the battery and come back Jan went and took her break so she didn’t have to continue helping me. The other lady told me she went on break and that I now how to wait in line again to be helped. A very frustrating experience.

So tired of getting denied my veterans discount at Home Depot. Yesterday was the last straw. Went to check out with a large basket of items, entered my phone number as cashier said to do and phone number was not found. Even though I have signed up online for the benefit. I presented her with my veteran card and she said I needed an actual military card to receive this. Not sure what kind of military card is needed if a Florida drivers license with a veteran endorsement on it will not work. Needless to say, we left the basket and went across the street to Lowe’s where we had zero problem getting the veteran discount. If this was the only time this had occurred at HD, we wouldn’t be taking the time to write a review but this has happened several times. Shame on us for continuing to try. Home Depot has lost our business for making veterans jump through hoops for a simple 10% discount.

The is very good here but it has to be the hardest home Depot to get a hold of a employee when you're trying to find something and the computer system has issue at the issue I swear if you want to get stuck in the store for an hour plus go here!

Rented a ladder from store on st lucie west, just west of fl turnpike, port st lucie fl. The person that helped me couldn't be more helpful. Even answered questions about another subject. When I returned it, he was waiting on someone else, and took the time to ask if everything went well. The person that checked me out asked me if everything went well also. Excellent service

I have had the best of experiences with Natalia in doing my first DYI reno for my kitchen. Amazing help. The 3 stars are because they have a CSR rep up front named Latonya who was the nastiest person with me. wagged her finger at me. refused to call the staff about a pick up and then told me I "better go find Natalia if I want to pick up my cabinets because I'm not giving you anything" apparently my receipt of purchase and email stating my purchase was ready for pick up wasn't enough proof for her and she proceeded to tell me that for all she new I was trying to get free cabinets. Not only did she insult me but this lady couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone and CALL HER CO WORKER she was just insulting me, wagging her finger at me and demeaning me. Worst expirience with Latonya and pickup!!

Dear fellow veterans,
Do not shop at Home Depot. They make you jump through too many hoops to get a well-deserved discount from them. It should be an easy thing to prove with an ID. The fact that they make you sign up for a discount tells you they don’t really want you to use it. Go where you are respected and where an ID is sufficient enough proof for a military discount. Next they will want your finger prints and blood sample.
