I just walked out of PNC Bank after an utterly frustrating encounter with Kelly Gauntt. My goal was straightforward: to open a business account for my real estate brokerage. Apparently, that was too complex for Kelly to grasp. I’ve opened accounts with numerous national banks, and never once has a real estate brokerage been flagged as requiring “special approval” it’s always been treated as a standard small business checking account. Yet Kelly, in her bewildering confusion, seemed convinced I was running some sort of financial brokerage needing extra clearance. Her insistence that paying commissions to real estate agents transforms this into a unique, exotic account type was as baffling as it was incorrect. When I attempted to clarify that this was, in fact, a simple small business checking account, Kelly’s response dripped with condescension—an attitude that only amplified the aggravation. She doubled down, proudly declaring she’d opened “plenty” of real estate agent accounts for the office upstairs, yet somehow still failed to recognize that a brokerage account isn’t the same thing. The irony of her citing her experience while so blatantly misunderstanding the situation was almost laughable—if it weren’t so infuriating. This wasn’t just a minor misstep; it was a masterclass in incompetence paired with an off-putting demeanor. Kelly clearly requires substantial training to bridge the gaping holes in her knowledge and customer service skills. What's the most worrisome of the whole situation is that she is literally the branch manager.. I really hope her superios take note of this debacle and intervene. sparing the next real estate broker the exasperation of dealing with Kelly’s uninformed gatekeeping. So here I am waiting for a call back from someone that literally I have zero confidence in. My time was wasted; others deserve better.

In this branch is Claudia, an official who has very little knowledge of the promotions that the bank sends by mail to potential clients, but the worst thing is her personal treatment, and her lack of patience and education. How poorly represented the PNC is. Logically, I did not do business with the bank 🤦♀️

LAZY LAZY LAZY. Young teller wouldn’t go get her teller manager for me to complete my transaction. This branch is an absolute mess and upper management needs to come in here and clean house!

So on 06/07/22 I called this branch and asked for an appointment on Saturday. I was informed they do not do appointments on Saturdays its first come first served. Bank opens at 10 I get there at 1030 they stated its an hour wait as ONE customer is in front of me. So after 30 mins of waiting the ONE customer in front of me is suppose to go in next. Then another lady walks in and is just standing looking at us and looks to the associate who finished up with her current client and then proceeded to tell me and the other customer that this lady that just walked in had an appointment and she is servicing her first. So of course naturally the women who was suppose to be next goes to the counter to ask for further assistance they then proceeded to say that is the only one here to help with accounts and she’s booked until closing. So why have us check in tell us an hour wait, and that appointments are not made on Saturdays? To me this was about privilege and it was unacceptable you dont treat customers and potential customers like this. So i checked in ans waited an hour just to be told the one person to help is booked for the rest of the day smh you guys are a joke and privilege shouldnt be a priority. if you say first come first served then please practice it!

So my first and last trip to PNC Bank. I went there this morning to get a document notarized. A gentleman at the teller counter tried explaining to me that the notary could not notarize my document because it was drafted by my attorney. He did not make any sense and kept going in circles with me. Needless to say I had to pay to get my document notarized elsewhere. I'm sad to say I will no longer be a PNC customer.

Mary is MARVELOUS! The studio is so welcoming, well decorated, spotlessly clean. Mary is very knowledgeable, went over services available, recommended what she thought would work best for my skin, and then she began. The facial is heavenly, she takes her time, and explains princesses as she goes. We settled on the first one being a cleansing/conditioning facial. The table she uses is ultra relaxing! She also did Brazilian was- and is expert in that as well. I booked my second treatment for three weeks, and I can't wait. Well worth to join her VIP membership club for great deals.
