I had a very disappointing experience with Thefishstorefl.com. I ordered a yellowfin tang and received an order confirmation, but after that, communication was nonexistent. I sent multiple emails and called several times with no response, except for one brief conversation with the owner, who promised updates that never came. After being assured the fish would ship, I still received no shipping notification or tracking information. The owner eventually claimed USPS couldn’t guarantee overnight shipping, but again, no action was taken. I still hadn't received any updates or even confirmation that the fish was in stock. It's been over two weeks since I canceled my order, and I still haven’t received any refund. Overall, the lack of communication, broken promises, and delays make me highly skeptical of this store, and I would recommend steering clear.

The Fish Store - A Disappointment in Every Aspect
I regret to say that my experiences with The Fish Store have been nothing short of disastrous. Despite living just a street away, I have repeatedly (nearly daily) found the store closed during their advertised (and already limited) business hours. It's incredibly frustrating to plan a visit only to find the doors locked and lights off. This isn’t surprising, though, given the high staff turnover we’ve noticed in the last 6 months or so.
When I finally managed to catch them open, I was appalled by the conditions. All of their coral tanks were infested with Aiptasia, and the RODI water I purchased had a reading of around 30 TDS, far from the zero it should be. Additionally, the salinity of their premixed saltwater was highly inconsistent, which is unacceptable for maintaining a healthy marine tank, especially considering the ridiculous price they charge for it.
To make matters worse, each of the fish I was planning to purchase were clearly sick, many showing signs of Ich. It’s heartbreaking and irresponsible for a store to sell fish in such poor condition.
The final straw was when I contacted the owner a week ago to help set up my new 120-gallon tank. He blew me off multiple times despite my trying to schedule appointments. I ended up hiring another company to do the job for far less than what The Fish Store quoted.
It’s a shame because having a quality local shop would have been so convenient. Unfortunately, I now make the trip to Jensen Beach for all my aquarium needs and bought my own RODI system. Save yourself the trouble and do the same.

The Fish Store is a great little gem! Top notch salt water and RO system for weekly water changes.
Chris, the owner, is truly knowledgeable and a great person he is always there to help get me out of any bind my tank throws at me. The shop has fresh or frozen food testing supplies, lights,pumps, and sumps . New fish and coral weekly. Custom tanks. And much more.
