Charged me $4,328.61 to get my very low hour 5KW gas generator to start from the inside panel since it would only start from the bilge. No quotes on parts or labor just a huge bill that included $172 in mileage charges, $180/hour labor charge, some type of insurance surcharge $155, plus a $1909.58 charge for a control board. I appreciate the repair but I feel the costs are exorbitant especially without any quotes. If I had been made aware of the fees I would have declined the repair.

Drew and crew were so incredibly prompt and helpful when we needed help with our diesel engine. They diagnosed the issue immediately and got us up and running quickly. We also learned from them how to fix this issue if we ever encounter it again. That is priceless knowledge. Highly recommend this company.

They recently completed warranty work & owner's orientation on our MAN powered boat. Drew was great in scheduling/coordinating, Cyndie in the office really has things squared away and Zac did an awesome job on the boat. Thanks GCD!

Whoever drives your white van bearing Florida tag: 89BHBM is quite a reckless driver! I75, Mile Marker 214 on 3-30-2023 at 1:18PM. Going easily 90+, tailgating, swerving around vehicles. Attached is a photo from my dash cam.

They went overboard to repair my boat. Lost the Starboard engine and limped into Marco Island late Friday. Talked with Steve that evening. He was on the boat first thing Saturday morning. Diagnosed the problem and completed repairs. Let me know he was not sure if the engine needed a new alternator or not. That day we were forced to limp into Naples with the same problem. We called Steve and he came out the next morning first thing with a Remanned alternator and new breakers. That day happened to be Fathers Day! I purchased the boat in Ft Lauderdale and was taking it to Lake Michigan-Chicago. Steve gave us a number to reach him in case any other alarms came up. That was invaluable, as he helped us diagnose and fix the rest of the minor problems that came up over the next couple weeks. Can’t say enough about Steve and Gulf Coast. Would recommend them to anyone!

Steven Davis of Gulf Coast Diesel Service is a true professional. He provided a 1,000 hour service on my MAN V-10 1050 HP engines and did it efficiently, on-time and provided insight during the process. Steven has a true passion for the industry, provides a level headed approach to any situation and communicates clearly with his clients. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Steven to other boat owners.

The driver (LP# EAZ P53) was going 35 in a school zone. When I called to let them know, the man did not care. He said to call law enforcement if I had a problem, that the number I called was only for "business". He knew it was him and he gave a rat's rear end that he put children in danger. I get it if you have a lead foot, but a school zone has no place for that. A child's life is more important. This company flat out did not care, and they would rather argue on the subject than apologize and correct the behavior.
