I needed a piece of lumber cut and CRAIG in lumber was very helpful and made my time in Sun City Home Depot very easy and he is competent and compassionate. THANK YOU CRAIG.

I placed a curbside order and waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone came out to assist me. When someone finally came out I was asked if I was waiting for curbside & I told him that I had checked in twice already but he informed me that my name wasn't listed as placing an order. After a few minutes he stated that he would go inside and see if he could locate my order & then asked why didn't I go inside instead of waiting. I informed him that the check in instructions state to wait in your vehicle. He returned to the vehicle after 10 minutes with my order & loaded my vehicle. Once I arrived home & unloaded my vehicle I realized there was a small hole in the bag & some of the product had spilled into the the truck of my vehicle. This was not my best experience with a curbside order.

I purchased 3 very expensive appliances from Home Depot washer and dryer delivered last Saturday. Buyer be wear. I was NEVER informed that Home Depot was NOT doing the delivery apparently they contacted out the delivery to a HORRIBLE company that are nothing but DROP and GO men. These men have NOT been trained or educated in Customer Service they have been hear 4 times extremely Rude do NOT want to fix problem get out as fast as they get in. The have ZERO education and training in installation. HORRIBLE COMPANY terrible catch 22 the customer only has 48 hours to complain about a problem which I did after machine's arrived 30 minutes later tried to wash clothes. Watch video for machine sounding like a jet on the tarmac and the tun hitting side of washer while 2 sets of men stated everything was totally normal. BEWARE

My husband is a disabled Vet. He forgot his phone with the app on it. Home Depot would not give him his military discount even with his military ID card and phone number. Same on Home Depot. Looks like Lowes will be our new home improvement store.

Purchased a fancy door a fancy storm door and install of all. A month later Home Depot shows up to measure. Door installer is very short and grumpy. Says nothing to me. I get a call the next day and they can install the door they sold me for install because its not wind rated. So I lost a month waiting had 1300 wrapped up in them and all for nothing. Lack of training lack of care and effort. Huge Christmas let down. I'll never trust Home Depot again.

Absolutely worthless young, female staff working in the garden center today. Too busy with their cell phones, mumbling incoherently behind masks and simply don't want to do a damn thing. They have absolutely no interest in assisting anyone. The young, wanna be thug in the parking lot, collecting carts was more interested in his look than he was doing his job. This place needs some serious supervision. I called to speak with management and whoever answered the phone was as equally worthless and clueless as these individuals previously cited. What the heck is going on here?

Update- Can't believe how much has changed with this location. There customer service is good at a certain level but their concern for customer satisfaction and safety is non existent. The isles are filled with overstock product they can't fit above because they have decided to hoard and increase the inflated situation we are dealing with as a nation currently. I had the unfortunate experience where I witnessed an elderly woman trip over their overstock in the middle of the isles, she was bleeding a bit and sure she had to be taken by ambulance because it was a fall. The Home Depot is also making it terribly unsafe to park in the parking lot. They have mounds of pallets full of merchandise everywhere. Also tractor trailers parked in areas where you have blind corners, making it a scary situation for drivers. I've asked in the past about the scraps after cutting and they usually sell them or give them away. This last visit I was told no and that they get thrown out... come on are you serious! Talk about not being echo friendly at all. The only and I mean the only reason this location does so well is because it's competition is more than 20 miles away. I'd love to see a lowes pop up right next door because this place does not care at all about the customers anymore. It's really sad because the staff is great and they're doing what's been told of them but my word has the edge of the Home Depot I use to know dissipated.

Love this home depot right next to the house. The staff at the front desk are always fast and they don't give you a hard time for any returns or defective items.

I will never ever, do business with Home Depot again. In fact I closed my Home Depot Credit card today because of this totally crappy ( but consistently) bad service. I've received at Home Depot Sun City fl -- esp in the garden department... The final "triggering incident" -- was this -- In line for 10 -12 minutes two ahead of me lots of garden stuff .. isn't scanning., Poor lady is doing what she can and then entering UPC's manually... Ok I've been waiting ten minute now great... Next in line. This dude and his wife roll up with a massive cart of garden stuff .. aND HE GOES TO THE SLELF SERV ISLAND ... SEEING THE BIG LINE ... Of course HIS STUFF IN GARDEN ISN'T PROPERLY SCANNING ... "Oh OH miss oh miss" -- she immediately runs over there abandoning her check out line -- her defense she is the only lady checking stuff outin the garden s=department with 20 people in line ... . With maybe twenty people in line ... I get it she was under duress HD's fault here.. a NOTHER 5 TEN MINUTES SHE MANUALLY SCANNS AND FIXES THE THE STUFF THEY WERE HAVING AN ISSUE WITH. aND then ... "almost" STARTS to process my order. Another guy from the back of the line rolls his cart up to the self service line and starts calling "oh miss Oh Miss" -- She immediately runs over. At that point I was like yeh that's enough and left the carriage and walked out. So it gets better. I decide to call the store directly ( sun city fl) and complain after getting bounced around in voice mail jail I say yeh I've had enough... Yeh thanks for the voicemail box. So then I said f it. 'm done with Home Depot... I next call the HD card service aND SAY YEH i'M DONE. aND THEY ARE LIKE WELL YOU HAVE TO GIVE A REASON and I say you suck.

Wow! Has this place gone downhill over the last year or what!!! Ordered lumber, blocks, sand etc... lumber was twisted, blocks were cracked and pavers different colors from different batches///at 68 -I came in to get 40 bags of mulch... three associates stood by and talk while watching me load and pull this stuff around... no "offer" of assistance.... Today I went in to pick up some vegetable seeds... (this is after all our Fall and Winter" planting season... Nope we don't carry seeds now... (???) But you can but one little stinking veggie plant for 5 bucks!! Where are your vegetable tray packs? ZERO! went to Lowes out in Riverview yesterday an additional 15 miles one way because HD didn't have garden peat moss.... Lowes is looking better all the time!

Here I go again (sigh). You know Home Depot used to be a reliable place to go for advice and supplies/appliances. Apparently not any more. After my refrigerator buy this year I needed a washer & dryer. I go in on the holiday weekend like any good consumer and wham! Did you know that the appliance no longer come with the plug in cords? Since when. And when they had me infuriated enough with all the add on charges that I state I'll go shopping elsewhere the girl is like ok bye. Wait what?! So much for customer service plus I'm a little lazy these days you know working two jobs and all. So I buy them and wait (again like the good little consumer) for about two weeks for shipment. Mind you I was explicit in stating I needed delivery in the afternoon and would t you know it delivery is scheduled between 8 am and 12. I call and I use their texting customer service (that was fun - if she remembered who she was speaking to). They do state they are helping multiple people - I guess I received fair warning. I get the WE can't schedule the delivery it's the delivery company's purview. But wait the delivery company gives the Home Depot help number. So WHO in fact is running the show. The next delivery date is a Saturday a month and a half later. I say no way - besides I'm working that day, I'll just tell the Army to sloff off! That'll work out for me real well. So by this time my anger issues are practically through the roof because again it's our way of the highway. I choose the highway and am (eventually) getting a full refund. Home Depot you fail again.

I was unable to find the product I needed on the HD app, even though I knew it was in the store. I went to the store where a kind associate had to climb up to get a new box for me. In checking out, The price for a box of 24 scanned kas $7.79 for 24 in the box. Individual items were $2.99 each. I called for check out help.. she was unable to get me 24 of the $2.99 items. Total time 1 hour.. came home. Ordered online from Lowe's, picked up at curbside, saved 30 cents on each item.. Total time : 15 min plus travel time.

Stay away from Home Depot if you’re looking for carpet installation. We ordered carpet back in June to be installed in our family room. The Home Depot sales lady was extremely helpful. We picked out the carpet, the padding and scheduled a day for them to come out and measure. Measurements happened without incident. We were scheduled to have the tile removed on August 3 and carpet installed on August 4th. The morning of August 3rd we received our first, THAT’S RIGHT OUR FIRST
