Reserved a cargo van - when I went to pick it up they didn't have one. Attitude was "oh well". To add insult to injury, they said that I had to call the customer service number to be sure that I wasn't charged!!

Made a reservation online for a vehicle. They didn’t have any vehicles in stock when I got there. No phone call, the guy the greeted me seemed annoyed I was even in there to rent a car. It’s not my fault your company has a faulty booking system. You should probably get that fixed.

I made a reservation for a moving truck 3 days in advance. 2 hours before my scheduled pick up, they called and cancelled. I traveled all the way from NJ and am on a tight schedule. Now I have to scramble and find another affordable place. Would not recommend this place.

This might be the worst car rental place I've been to. Ordered a midsized truck. Got a full size truck with damage, dirt, broken glass all over the bed, severe smoke smell, and a bad leaking tire. Hours are ridiculous, and nobody will answer a phone. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Theeee most unfriendly place I have ever been! The girl behind the counter - admitted she seemed to be by herself - tried to get everything done at the same time, not really focusing on each customer. Not only that: she also was very rude! Told me to not use that tone on her, while she was the one being aggressive. Had we not been in kind of a hurry, we would have just left her and go somewhere else.Had she focused on the situation, she could have told us very important information right at the beginning instead of “handing” it to us on our way out like she just remembered it. But don’t you dare think she would have admitted that.Anywho, this is an absolute no-go place.A typical “never again” moment.

Is a negative star rating possible for customer service? We arrived on a Friday afternoon to pick up a one way rental (Thank God). My husband pulled into the parking lot and parked where the signs directed us and I went inside. Without even acknowledging me, the woman screamed "he can't park there!". She was dressed in ripped jeans, crocs, a tank and a hoodie, so I was not even sure she worked there. I responded asking where should he park? She told me to have him park at the O'Reiley's auto parts next door. I went outside and passed along her instructions to my husband. As he was moving the car, she came outside and yelled "he needs to move!". I responded and pointed that he was actively moving the car. Then she walked away. I honestly thought I was being Punked. I went back inside and waited a few minutes for her to return. No conversation, no acknowledgement just "put in your credit card". I didn't sign any documents - just handed the keys. Worst customer service rep ever. The car key didn't work and the car showed "service required" on the dashboard - which we were told to ignore.I had used this location on several occasions because it was a nice neighborhood alternative for renting a car. We will never go back there. I would rather drive further and deal with the hassle of the airport then ever seeing that woman again.

The most unprofessional and nasty experience I’ve had with another human being in my life.The crackead behind the counter was bothered that I walked through the door. “Didn’t you read the sign” um yea the sign that said “we got not cars” written in crayon.I went in to ask why I didn’t get a phone call about there being no cars? Or if there was some other Avis I could go to. Oh because corporate doesn’t want us to cancel. Ok cool so waste a whole day off work to drive to to get cussed at by a crackhead.9/20/23 @12pm was the interaction. Her boyfriend was sitting in the lobby nodding out the entire time.Save your time and go anywhere else

Absolutely horrible place! We ordered a 12 passenger van on Wednesday for a large group for a long ride and I called today which is Friday to verify our reservation for tomorrow. First they said everything was good and then 30 minutes later we got a call saying there was an issue and how many people do we actually have. I let them know eight and they said they can accommodate 9, but a few seats were removed. They also said they are not sure if they will get it since it is coming from Tampa and this happens all the time where they don’t send them. For us having to travel a few hours this is completely unacceptable. They said call back tomorrow before arriving to make sure they received it. Since we need to make sure we have a vehicle for our event I called the customer service line and they were able to cancel with no fees added. I will never rent from them again!

Well went on line to see what car I could get to rent and got a car online but when I went to the site to get the car the guy who was runinng the agency didn't have the car ready ..and he said that I could get the car the next morning. So went down there to get the car in the morning and the guy was a little bit nicer about renting me the car the office was not that good in Key Largo or the one in St Petersburg it seem like it needs to be updated and really dirty looking and unorganized

Reserved a truck in advance. Received a call that morning to inform me they don’t have a truck for me to rent. No further explanation or accommodation. Why take the reservation, if you can’t honor it?

Rented from here 6x over 3yrs because my corp job mandated it. Always a terrifying experience. The vehicle may not work, and it is definitely not going to be clean. Even when they're being nice, they can snap into crazy on a dime. Last time we watched a screaming match go down. It's bottom of the barrel, and I am relieved we are about to be free of Avis for good.

My experience at this location probably counts as the worst customer service I've ever experienced. There is so much I could say but I'll keep it very simple.#1- if you're an Uber driver; be aware that the app will allow you to make a reservation but the rental agency isn't required to have a vehicle available for you?! (What is the purpose of a reservation??!)Also, as an Uber driver I was informed that they "don't clean Uber rentals" as they "don't have time for all that." I met another Uber driver returning a car. She said it smelled like mold so badly that she couldn't even use it to make money and was just giving it back.#2- the girl behind the counter proceeded to make me feel as though I was inconveniencing her by being there... For my reservation... She made sure I was aware they didn't have any Uber cars available and then mentioned they might have one, if I want to wait a couple hours, but it "needs new tires pretty bad" so she "didn't know how long it would last"The whole situation was incredibly frustrating. I've never been treated so small by any customer service agent before in my life.Also, the building was disgusting, dirty and had no air conditioning.

I’ve rented here several times. The only complaints I have is that they don’t clean the cars well. They vacuum the floor, but that’s it. Cup holders and other areas with visible dirt/dust. One of my rentals had dog hair all over it and it smelled bad. They also rarely have the car you reserve. I usually reserve a sedan and end up with an SUV. Otherwise, they have good prices and customer service, but they need to clean the cars better for sure.

I left my bag with my medicine in a return rental car. I didn't realize it until I got home. I went to retrieve my bag at 5:30pm because the listed office hours are 6pm. The office was closed. They had my number on file but no one contacted me to tell me they were closing over 30 minutes early. Now I've wasted a round trip Uber and have to go without multiple medications until I can return tomorrow morning to spend money on another Uber.

They never answer the phone, are poorly trained, and lie to customers. They told me they changed my reservation so that I could drop off my rental at another location, but apparently it’s actually not possible to do so. No one knows what they’re talking about.
