I do not bank personally or commercially with BofA but needed to visit to let's say prove that I do not bank with BofA.Manager Nick was excellent. Great smile, spoke clearly, listened to understand, then made some calls on his end to clear up any issues all while showing empathy for me having to take time out of my day to fix something I did not do. I left thinking, maybe I will bank with BofA one day.1- Star ReasonPrior to Nick, the business account rep does not belong in a customer facing position. We had a brief encounter so if others know her norm better than I, perhaps more training will resolve. She was argumentative when I asked to speak in her office so I did not need to air my personal matter in the lobby, cutting me off mid-sentence and accusing me of throwing my stack of papers at her that I actually slid across her desk like we have all seen in the movies a thousand times. Seriously how can someone throw a stack of bank notice papers? She stormed out of her office turning her back to me and kicked me out. I felt UNO reversed Karen'd because she said she was going to get her manager. If me asking not to be interrupted when I'm speaking or if we could go in her office in the beginning because I did not want to air my issue in then lobby is rude, then I guess I'm rude. After getting kicked out to the lobby and waiting for Nick, I did notice the front greeter and tellers were very friendly to multiple clients with friendly greetings and on a few occasions personable comments as they knew and remembered their clients. This gave me a community bank feel minus the issue above.

My experiences have been very positive thus far. I just moved to St. Pete from NY and appreciate having a branch walking distance from home. Johanna Watts-Clarke, a Senior Banker, was professional, competent and patient as she helped me resolve some issues relate to my two accounts. I am an Afro-Latina of Dominican descent and from day one, the staff has treated me respectfully, kindly and professionally. I am in the process of transferring all of my banking needs to Bank of America. Happy with the customer service, competence and professionalism.

Racist home loans. This bank offers no down payment loans to black and Spanish people special loans and not white people.

Standing in the same spot for 30 minutes because they only have 1 teller to help customers at this time of day...when people are getting off work. I'll give them a 2-star for being pleasant but complete failure with time efficiency.

This has to be one of the slowest branches I've ever been to. There was a long line the whole time and one of the teller windows was empty even though there were employees just standing around.

Unfortunately, this is the most unhelpful customer service center I have encountered in my many years with Bank of America. My husband and I count on this bank's service and access to our money. We are purchasing a home and needed to open Escrow. The computer system to make an appointment was not working. We tried every Bank of America within a 60 mile radius and no appointments open for any day that week. With escrow, time is vital. We do not want to take the chance of processing this electronically ourselves. Finally we decided to go into the branch and speak to a banker. The Banker was not sitting on the floor in their "cubicle". The banker was in the back room, not with an appointment, but doing "something else".Denitra Howard, was the "greeter" with her iPad and insisted, in the middle of the bank floor, to ask me how much I wanted to wire. It was very uncomfortable and she insisted I tell her out loud. When I did and explained the situation, she went to the back and came out saying, "I'm sorry. You can sit and wait for several hours, but we can not assist you any other way today." There is No Bank of America that can take an appointment. We left the establishment and took our business to Wells Fargo, where a banker immediately took the time to assist us and "squeeze" us in as it was of a timely matter.I can not recommend this branch.

I received a letter that my account was being closed. Contacted BoA. I was instructed to ignore it and consider the mail spam. Today my account is froze. No one will help. Customer service was less than helpful. Never called me back. I’m stranded. Thanks for nothing. I feel like this is part of your model. Intentionally leave customers without access so you can invest it. I’m so disappointed right now.Worst part. They said maybe in 24 to 48 hours it will be unfrozen. Worst case I’ll get a check in 28 days. Help please.

Well , I came to exchange money. They guy who was there honestly told me if I can come the other day since he doesn’t know how to do it. Like why you work there if you don’t know how to work with currency ?

It is very good for saving and they treat us well, but there is a problem, I don't know if it is with everyone or what, it is that they have a limited deposit for me and when it reaches the limit I can no longer deposit until the following month

When it mattered most, Cynthia, Johanna, Denitra, and Sara all played a hand in doing what was right for the customer.I hit a snag when trying to wire funds and the online experience had clearly failed me. Thanks to decisive and efficient action by the PEOPLE in this branch, I was able to successfully conduct the necessary business actions. As for the B of A online portal and phone customer service: ONE STAR. Worst online platform of all my bank relationships.

This is probably one of the best BoA branch I ever visited. The personalized service and attention to detail of the welcome team all the way to Mr Amrou is A+. I keep going to this branch although I moved out of the area just because of the service. Tried other branches in St Pete and none are even closer in customer service like this one. Mr Amrou is trustworthy and very knowledgable and makes you feel like a friend more than an adviser. So are the tellers and how clean is this branch always. Recommended!

This was one of the last walk-in Bank of America banks in downtown St. Petersburg. I tried going in today and it said temporarily closed!! HOGWASH Without prior warning or consideration for their customers, they closed this location leaving the thousands of customers in the downtown area, without a walk in location. The location on 38 th ave has an enormous waiting line! I can only imagine what it will be like now. There are some things you just can't do on line . I'm going to look for an alternative institute to do business with in the future. It's a shame because I have been a customer for over 15 years and the personnel in the branch next to Publix was outstanding! Don't waste your time going there.
