I really love this place. There's a great assortment of more curated items. If you're in vintage clothes, they have a couple racks of those. If you're in this designer clothes, they have a couple racks of those. But they have a large selection of women's, men's Items, housewares, furniture, fun, knickknacks, things, you just don't see everywhere else. Good options for Art as well.. and a lot of unique things. I found some real treasures here highly recommend this place and the staff is great.

There is NO public bathroom in this store. I was interested in buying some items, but really needed to go to the bathroom, but NO! So, no purchase!

I love this place so much! I only just started going to this place but I’m already in love, there’s SO many good finds here with amazing prices. The store is easy to navigate, and everyone’s nice. Plus there’s great prices on everything.

My first time visiting and I'll definitely visit the location that's closer to me! Staff were very friendly and professional, and I found a cute pair ov overalls that I purchased. The prices are comparable to Goodwill but I'd honestly rather give my money to Out Of The Closet!

One of my favorite chain thrift stores and much preferable to good will. In a world of fast fashion and in the midst of a recession, it is good to know we can count on thrift stores like this to benefit the community in a number of ways. First of all, the proceeds here benefit the AIDS foundation and this particular location does rapid HIV testing. Also, for shoppers, they have a rewards program and I signed up for text notifications so I get notified when they do store-wide sales. The pricing is generally fair and they had a decent selection of items, although I did find books to be at a higher price here than their Orlando location. Employees were nice and helpful. I would recommend hitting up this location, particularly on sales days for some good finds.

Nice thrift store with a wide selection and comparable prices on many items. Super friendly staff and the items were well organized. Such a wonderful thrift store to support. 96 cents of every dollar made goes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV prevention and treatment services. They also provide free HIV testing and an AHF pharmacy on-site.

I absolutely love this store! I buy from here and donate to them. I called and they came out and picked up several donations I had. It all goes to a great cause!

This was such a let down considering I've had such great experiences at other locations in South Florida. When I donate anything, I want to donate it at Out of the Closet. I believe in the message and what they do for the community, so naturally, when I had six garbage bags and a large suitcase to donate, this was the place I taking it.I came to the location, put my items by the door and rang the doorbell. A worker came out, looked at me and I told him I had a few more bags, he said, "ok put them there" and with a not very welcoming look, shut the door.I was never offered a donation slip. Then someone comes and asks me if they can have the suitcase I donated because they need one? What am I supposed to say, no? I don't care if someone takes it because obviously I'm donating it, but I'd rather the organization get the items to make money, but if the bags I'm donating get riffled through then what's the point? It seemed like they didn't care about my items and even the community because they are losing out on a lot.Just kind of bummed me out because I want to help in any way I can, but maybe I need to find another organization to donate to.

Hands down the best thrift store in St Pete. I've never paid more than 10 dollars for anything in there. Sales every day- often 50%!- and a rewards program. Staff is wonderful and parking is never an issue.

Recently moved to the area and couldn't help but stop to see what this beautiful colorful building was. As soon as I walked in this place stole my heart! Great selections at great prices, kept clean and easy to shop in, and a wonderful cause they give the profits to!Not to mention the staff here are so wonderfully kind!If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!

I've never been so Disappointed in my St. Pete/LGBT peers as to the disrespectful display what I have assume a deceased Marine Cpl.s dress uniforms. On display for purchase as to if you don't have to earn that privilege. So while they play on unwitting accomplice to a the felony. I am going to take my money elsewhere for a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully my brother's &Sister's will help me make the point that Our oath of enlistment doesn't not have an exspration date.

I had an oversized couch that was in great condition. Just a bit over the top for me in style but a great napping spot. The 2 guys who picked it up were super nice and so efficient! Hope it goes to a good home !
