Seem like a nice bunch. The salesman I worked with walked me out in the lumber yard and helped me pick the hardwood boards I was looking for. Unfortunately, they have a very small selection of s4 hardwood and the price of the red oak tree as Home Depot level

I don't normally write bad reviews but due to the lack of professionalism from a Manager named John, I wouldn't buy anything from White's Lumber unless you inspect it in person first. We purchased (4) 10x10x12 rough sawn cedar timbers and (2) 10x10x8 rough sawn cedar timbers. We just received the delivery and the 12 foot timbers were great. Both of the 8 foot timbers were unacceptable.First of all, we know what checking is. We also know when checking becomes excessive and ruins the structural integrity. I called our sales rep and then spoke to the Manager named John. I explained the situation, told him what these timbers were for. He said we don't accept returns. You own them. and then hung up the phone like an immature child.Whoever owns White's should evaluate their manager and re-train them or replace them.Inspect your lumber purchases before you buy them from White's because they aren't professional and won't accept returns for unacceptable product.

Now this is a true Lumber Yard with the neccessary tools and fasteners for the job.The vast array of products and knowledgeable staff makes this place my go to for building materials. They stock Hardie Siding and Trim, Cedar Siding and trim, many different types of specialty wood (black walnut, cherry, burma, cedar), pressure treated and kiln dryed wood saw blades, concrete etc.Get out of the box stores and shop with a crew that know wood and are there to help.

Great place to buy lumber and other construction supplies. Manager, John is very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend doing business here over the big box stores any day!

Unreliable. No notification that delivery would be late. Hours after scheduled time, refused to provide an updated time when delivery would be made. No estimate, no window. Crew wasting time waiting on delivery. Rude on phone while attempting to resolve.
