I'm restoring a bamboo fly rod and needed some parts. Ferrules, in particular. Measurements have to be just right. Ye old fly shop help me measure the areas that are important . Using a micrometer and measuring several points along the rod. Pretty excited to tune this old beauty up.

bought a 1wt fly rod + real + line + hard tube case for a very very reasonable price , rod + real + case are Olde Fly Shop made/designed. Shop is directly off Hwy1 ( very easy to stop in ) , will definitely visit again

Brian the owner is amazing. This is the 2nd time I have spoken with him the phone that has led to being educated & getting exactly what I needed. He is joy to talk too & super knowledgeable. A quaint shoppe for the avid fly fisherman. Its very small, but packed with everything one could need for tying flies, building rods, fly fishing and more. The owner is an Englishman who lives upstairs. He is adding a traditional fishing section with frozen bait to his shop as well. He plans to accommodate thise wanting to fish the canels and ocean as well as rent gear out to those on vacation.

Brian the owner is a very nice guy. Great little shop and reasonably priced products. Great fly tying selection and lots of fly rods built by him. Will definitely be back!
