My husband and I stayed here because my brother was close and we attended a Sea burial ceremony for my parents
The staff was exceptional, especially Allie. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Clean and relaxing room that had everything I needed. Fridge, microwave, pool and gym were available. Great location for walking around Ybor. I came for the vampire ball at the castle and it was only an 8 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again. Only bothersome part was having to do the QR code and pay $26 a night to park in the parking garage attached to the hotel. Not that much of an inconvenience, it would just be nice if it were part of the check-in process to just pay for parking.

Upon our arrival I told the staff it was our anniversary. To our surprise when we arrived at the hotel they had a nice sign waiting on us. I want to give a huge shout out to all the staff for their attention to detail. Whenever I'm in Tampa, this is my go to hotel. Trust me they won't disappoint!

We stayed here in May. Overall it is a nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hilton lost 2 stars because of the parking situation. They have outsourced their parking to some company and I was charged twice. I went on the parking website and answered a bunch of questions in the chat to be told I would be contacted in 72 hours...no contact so I had to raise a dispute with Amex. If you are going to outsource a service, you need to take responsibility when they mess up, thus the 3 star review.

The hotel is good. Have stayed many times, but this last time on May 29 was very unpleasant. First, the hotel has turned the parking over to a third party. Cumbersome and frustrating. The price listed on line is different that the actual final price. That may come back on the hotel as a class action suit as what is advertised is different that the final price. So Hilton has decided that they do not want to bother with customers and let an uninterested third party control. It is Hilton and we should expect Hilton care and not a third party. Additionally, the breakfast was horrible as people had to wait 20 minutes for food, cups, napkins, and utensils. Management should have stepped in and helped out, but they were missing in action. I respectfully request that the hotel eliminate the third party parking and go back to control by Hilton which it should be. Value your guests and treat them yourself and not pawn them off to a third party which charges more than stated online.

We booked this for the night before our cruise. Everything was great. We walked to our restaurant from there that night. We ate there the next morning. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. My husband pigged out!! We left our vehicle in their immediate parking garage while we were on our cruise. Really great place!!! Super convenient too! I will definitely be back.

Horrible customer service. They would rather you sleep on the streets then help a customer. Tried to check i even did the early check in, and still had problems. Still disappointed in front desk service. Rude and non-helpful. Will never go back.

RED FLAG FOR FAMILIES. THIS HOTEL IS NOT SAFE FOR FAMILIES. My wife, my two middle school age daughters, and I got a room here in January on a visit to their grandparents for Christmas at their retirement community home in central Florida. I had visited Old Tampa once before and planned to stay here for one night before an early morning flight back home. We checked in around 5 pm, went to dinner in Old Tampa with our kids, and returned to the hotel a little after 7 pm. Afterward, my wife and I went for a short walk in Old Tampa, while the girls stayed to watch TV in the hotel room. Shortly after returning an hour later at 8 pm, we heard a pounding on the hotel room door from the Tampy City Police Department. They let us know that the hotel staff said people were screaming for help. We let them come in, search the room, and know that they must have the wrong room. The hotel staff insisted that it was coming from our room and that we must leave. I asked them if they had concerns, then why didn’t they call the room or knock on the door to check if everyone was okay, but they said they could just kick us out for any reason. The police said that there was clearly nothing going on in our room and even tried to talk the manager and office staff out of forcing us to leave the hotel. I tried to tell them that we were not from Tampa and had no idea where to go at 9 pm to get a place to stay. The hotel staff didn’t care, told us to leave the property, and that we wouldn’t get a refund for our stay even though we had only been there for 3 hours. It was a crazy, scary, and shocking series of events. My daughters and wife were crying and confused. The police apologized and said this hotel regularly kicks out guests without any reason. They also said that unfortunately, because it's private property the police have to remove us when the hotel asks them to. I don’t want to even think about what would have happened to our young daughters if my wife and I had not returned from our walk a few minutes before the hotel staff created this chaotic unsafe situation for our family. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HAMPTON INN HOTEL IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY!
