I received a very snippy text that my appointment would be canceled even if I was 1 minute late, but I had to wait over 10 minutes for my puppy to be seen! Then had to witness them turn away another customer for arriving late (he called before hand and was told it would be okay) just to have the vet refuse to see his dog when they were running behind themselves having the customers wait! If it wasn’t that we prepaid, I would have left and found service elsewhere. I will not be renewing my membership next month

The vet and the assistant were just so friendly with me and Piper. Made the experience just feel great!

Westshore location; had to buy several cans of dog food on 11/8/23, checked out and then the cashier said, would you like to buy a bag for 10 cents?". I said no and had to carry out cans of dog food without a bag. wow, now they want to charge for a bag to carry out items after i just gave them my business!!

Check-in staff was nice but claimed to have called and left a voicemail that my appointment was too late in the day and the vet wouldn’t be there. I did not receive a voicemail so I’m not sure if they called? And I do not seem to understand why the time slot is available if the vet leaves after a certain time.

Staff was friendly but needs more training at their job. Could not perform simple heart worm blood check. 7-8 tries at inserting a needle and missed every time. Our pup will go un-medicated because of this. Very disappointed that we waited 2-3 weeks for this appointment to turn out as a failure.

I called the store after my order was cancelled and was immediately referred to the 877 number. The lady who I could barely understand said it was cancelled due to the l store inventory was incorrect but I could replace the same order and have it delivered at a later date. When I asked about the discount that was on the order I was told the promotion had ended and there was nothing that could be done. I called the store back and explained to the same lady what a was said. She said she was sorry and hung up on me. Done Done and Done. I'll gladly pay a higher price elsewhere before dealing with Petco again.

I needed to drop my dogs off while I ran some errands, to get them groomed and nails trimmed ! They took them in and did a great job! My babies are fluffy and happy. They even brushed their teeth! I am beyond happy with the job they did! Thank you so much!

I went here for the first time in a long time due to the Petco near me not selling aquarium fish at the moment, I waited in the fish section for 20 minutes before someone finally saw me standing there and asked me if I needed help and it was one of the dog trainers, the girl working in the fish section walked to the fish section, saw me, turned on the light in a tank and the. Walked in a back room, other than that, the women who found me help and the guy who got the fish for me were very nice and pleasant. I will also say that for a Saturday and it being a large store I only saw maybe 4 employees. So they may just need more staff.

I bring my dog here for frequent nail trims and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. We usually take a little tour of the store after the nail trim to see what's new; the shelves and isles are always neat and well stocked.

I had to return a dog costume that I ordered online because it was way smaller than the size listed online. I had used my $5 reward on the order for 3 items.I paid $17 for the item including tax and was only given a credit of $15, when I went back to the register to point out the error, the manager and another staff member told me that they knew it didn't seem right, but that was the policy, the $5 reward was split between the 3 items & I would lose the $2 applied toward the item returned. I called Petco to complain about this policy and was told that this was not the correct way to handle the credit. The rep on the phone re-applied the entire $5 reward for my inconvenience (even when I told her I only expected the $2). THIS is the way to treat your customers ! I will never go back to this store on S. Westshore Blvd. There are too many other Petco's in the area that will take care of me properly.
