DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP, they will try to rip you off any chance they get and charge for unnecessary work that doesn’t need to be done. I had an oil leak and told me me I needed a new turbo, feed pipe and gasket ( mind you I had just gotten a new turbo ,before I came to get it looked at) and were trying to charge me 1,200$! So I found a more reliable and put together shop and they explained that it was just a loose gasket and tightened it free of charge, and now my car is doing just fine.This shop is a sham don’t recommend if you value your time and money.

There should be an option for a 10 star review. This shop went above and beyond meeting, all expectations and then some. I needed AC work done and couldn’t find a shop that could give me a straight answer until my buddy recommended quality value automotive. I left it With them when I went on a planned 3 Week trip and they had no problems with that. By the time I got back, they fixed the AC and pointed out other things that needed to be fixed as well. I didn’t have the money to get the additional items replaced but I appreciated the extra effort. A couple days later my rear brakes went out and I was able to bring it in and have them repaired for a reasonable cost in the same day.Whoever says all mechanics are crooks Is wrong because this shop has some of the most honest hard-working mechanics in Tampa that aren’t out for all of your money! If you have problems with your car or just need general maintenance, I highly recommend taking it to Tim and his professionals at quality value automotive

Had a knock sensor issue, very common on Toyota/Lexus of early 2000s not only did they fix that, at a decent price, but also fix another common issue that was along the way with a coolant leak cleaned it up to prevent my new sensor failing…. This will be my new primary shop!!!

I dont if the owner or employee there i had conversation on the phone to day! one of my coworker he dropped my 2010 Ford f250 on Friday and at that day talked to a person called i guess Ramil or something that guy he told me he will check on saturday morning and he will call me the whole story how cost and etc, so he didnt call on saturday and I called to day I intruduced my self and I asked how much would be the total cost ? he refused to tell me the price we already told your guy how much and i have been trying to tell him the guy who dropped the truck he just a driver I am the owner and he hung up on me , I called back screaming like a maniac ,like a mental person and I am sure he is mental, we both were lucky I wasnt there, anyways, someone told me before i send the truck not to deal with this jerk, warning you before you go there think twice , not a profesional bussines practice

Great place for a quick, usually economical fix to vehicle issues! In my family's experience, they always try their best to keep the cost low and the service turnaround time quick. Friendly staff. Parking can be tight at the entrance off of Fowler, but if you go around the back, it's more roomy!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my favorite car repair center for always going above and beyond. I have been a student in Tampa and Tim has made my life so much easier. He has dealt with calls from my parents, kept my car in tip top shape and kept me going all through my journey. I had to make 1 final visit before I head back home and he made sure that I will be able to get this old clunker home safely. Thanks so much for helping me all these years and keeping me going. Going to miss ya'll!

I brought my car here because I had an overheating issue with my car. I clearly told them 4 times "I won't have the money to pay the $250 deductible that is required by car shield until I get my tax refund or my SSI check on May 1, 2024. The guy at the front desk told me don't worry I will see what I can do and the diagnostic test is free. However, their charged me $148.00 for the diagnoses. I never was given an written e repair work. They went ahead and diestimate on the repairs nor did I give written consent to do the work. They went ahead and did the work without my permission consent first. They submitted a repar bill to American car shield for $2200 and they authorized the work minus $148 for the diagnostic test and the $250 deductible which came to $1850.00. Then they wanted their payment without my signature on the invoice. They lied to American car shield that out of pocket expenses was paid in full and payment was issued. When I was told the car was ready for pickup I return my rental car to Enterprise and picked my vehicle. When I went into my glove department to get a pack of cigarettes out, I noticed the electronic title to my car was missing and the registration to my tag. I immediately called this repair shop the next morning but they was closed and left a voice mail asking about the electronic title and registration card was because I never gave them permission to remove those items from my car. Florida law clearly states repair shops must give a written estimate and my signature to have them complete the work. They violated state law and clearly shows what kind of repair shop they are really like. Milking up the repair bill, performing work that wasn't in a written estimate, and doing unauthorized work to my vehicle without my written consent. So people should get a written estimate and have your signature on it before any repair work is performed. The florida law is clearly stated and all repair shops are required by law. Plus the consumer doesn't have to pay the repair shop for unauthorized repairs.

I absolutely love this shop. I have an extremely used car so I’ve been in quite often for repairs. Tim, the owner, and the other man that works at the desk are so nice, and as a woman, they make me feel extremely comfortable. They make sure to explain every issue and break down the pricing, and they try to minimize cost whenever possible. I recommend this place to all of my friends!

Today, February 3, 2024, at exactly 11:30 am in the morning... I came to ask something about my vehicle, I parked in the back and they rudely responded to me, they voted me out of the area because for them I parked wrong and I was only going to ask no. It took me 1 minute asking. It was better that they told me politely that I could park somewhere else instead they started yelling at me... and they didn't even let me ask the question and they closed my proton... if that's how they treat new customers then their job should be be bad and they may have problems so I don't recommend it and it's the first time I've come
