Awful bank. The have archaic policies, and no customer service. Used them for over 10 years and it's gotten worse and worse.

The staff is very efficient and professional. Their customer service is designed to match customers up with the service they need.. When entering their lobby, you feel very welcome.

I had called CFB to let them know I had a pending charge in my checking that I did not recognize. They told me since it was a pending item they could not do anything about it. I told them I wanted to cancel my debit card to make sure no further money was taken out of the account. The charge went through the next day so I called back in to let them know and filled out a fraud claim form. Over 2 weeks later and nothing has been done. The amount was small but I am worried the next time it might be a lot more money. I was very disappointed in their lack of fraud protection. I am now looking for a new bank.

I applaud Melissa Ouelette and the staff at this Citizens First Bank branch. We had a difficult issue and her and her staff handled it very well. It’s comforting to know that we are part of a great hometown banking family. We have been customers for 19 years and would not consider any other bank.

Yesterday, I was harassed and accused of being a fraud criminal by Assistant Manager Melissa Ouellette for attempting to wire money from an extended family members account while they were there with me. She allowed her personal feelings, judgements and unfounded biases of my character to first attempt to flat out DENY me the wire. 2 hours later, she was satisfied enough with her questioning and digging and my insistence to do her job and complete the transfer.I called and complained to her manager and asked to file an official complaint. Please be aware that employees at this branch are unethical, biased and just plain rude.

Had a unique problem with my wife in assisted living. Talked to Linda and on her own time after work she made trip io the facility and took care of our need. THANKS LINDA.

We came in today and signed in electronically, someone will be right with us. 10 mins later , no one came and there was only two customer service reps on duty and neither looked like they would be available anytime soon. So we left! This was the first time in 15 years that there was not enough staff AND its mot even snowbird season yet!

Purchased a home in The Villages and thought the process would be easier if we went through the inside bank. We were told the closing would be four weeks from the day we wrote the contract. Two weeks and two days later our loan officer called to say that he had emailed the contract to their contracts department but the email didn't go through. No one had noticed until the day after I called with several questions. Nothing had been done on their end as far as appraisal and legal work. They said there was no way to expedite the process and delayed the closing by another two weeks. Asked him to take it to his supervisor who in turn told him no, I didn't even rate a call from her. Between the airline cancellation penalty and rebooking at a higher price, I was out several hundred dollars. Also a day on the phone cancelling and rescheduling air, car and hotel.

Citizens First Bank does not make Banking easy. They are difficult to deal with unless you have the time to go into a Branch and spend your time waiting for assistance with everything. They will not handle issues over the phone (despite that fact that they ask you half a dozen security questions to verify your identity). They won't even correct their own mistakes without you going into a Branch to fill our their paperwork! I do not recommend dealing with them.
