Absolutely awesome how they took care of my Sophie girl! They actually listened to me, ran the appropriate tests and not only explained her conditions, but gave me literature and was sent to my email by the time I arrived home. If you care about your pet, I highly recommend

1st rate care was taken with my dog.
Surgery went smoothly and her recovery is almost miraculous. Thank you to all who participated.

I cant express enough gratitude for the kindness shown to me today as we escorted my kitty across the rainbow bridge. Every staff member showed so much patience and compassion.
This will be where my other kitty goes for all of his healthcare as long as I live in Brevard.

Didn't like the service,I went there because my dog is old and has a problem with a molar. I went there and they wanted me to wait for the 25th so a Vet dentist can see him, but didn't order nothing for his pain or antibiotic. I took him to a different vet and got 3 medicine for my dog while a wait to get him to see a dentist or figure out what is going on with him. If the antibiotic works or no will see the next time I take him to the other vet.

1st visit...is my last.
Good -Staff was very friendly. Was clean, and not too long of a wait to start the appointment
Bad - Vet was a huge disappointment. I knew more about my skink then all of them. That's not saying much. In all fairness they did mention the vets were still learning exotic, however they did say they were familiar enough to do a wellness exam. The vet tech only weighted my skinks, I brought 2. Which I did at home. There was no listening to the heart or lungs. Then all the Vet did was look at my skinks from a distance. He never touched them & looked afraid to pick them up. I had to pick them up, and ask him to at least look at the eyes, belly, and tail. Again no listen to heart lungs or exam of the mouth... When I asked about thrush or mites the vet had to go back to his office to research it in a book. Really! Not joking. It was a complete waste of money. But I needed a stool sample done too to see if they had parasites. Well their lab said they can't do it in house. Needs to be sent out. Which costs more and takes longer. Fine...I needed it to be done. Then it took almost 20 mins for them to figure out how to use a promo they had on their website. Meanwhile my skinks are getting cold in the waiting room so I asked to put them in my truck to keep them warm. Until they figured everything out. Next day I dropped off one stool sample but they couldn't ring me out for some reason. They said someone would call me back later that day. Never happened...and never sent out the sample because of it. Luckily I had to drop off the 2nd sample for the other skink two days later only to find out nothing was done yet on the 1st one. SMH
So a couple days later a got a text message said the female was negative for parasites. I figured they were still waiting on the males result. Even though they were both sent out the same day. 3 more days pass...so on the 4th day I called to see why it was taking so long. After leaving a message, I get a call a few hours later only to say that the Vet forgot to put both names in the text message. The male was fine too. OMG really! That caused me to have to keep the male in quarantine longer for no reason & my kids not there then to see him go into his permanent habitat. I don't even trust that they actually did the tests...so after 1 visit, many more days & over three hundred dollars later I am completely unsatisfied and feel taken advantage of. They are not knowledgeable enough to be seeing exotic animals! Find somewhere else or wait until they hire a competent vet for the job.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Brought my 13 year old lab for a dental cleaning. Came to pick her up and the tech gave me some pain pills and told me to pay the bill while she went to get my dog. I got the bill and it was $1600. Their “high” estimate was $1040 before the visit. I asked why the bill was so high and the smug front desk guy told me they had to pull more teeth than planned. I asked how many. He said 9 teeth! She was originally going to have 2 teeth pulled. They pulled 7 EXTRA teeth without calling me to ask about it! I asked to speak to the Dr.. She admitted that she should have called me first but had no other words. I asked where all the extra charges came from. In addition to the 7 extra pulled teeth, she said she called for a blood test as my dog’s thyroid levels from the previous test were “extremely high”. The previous test was a month earlier and she had said the thyroid levels were “slightly elevated”. I asked her which is it…”extremely high” or “slightly elevated” as they are very different. She put her head down and said “slightly elevated”. Unreal. They were going to charge me another $150 for an unnecessary test that we had already told her we didn’t want.
The first appointment we went to, they put the wrong name on the blood test containers. We realized it when they asked us to pay for the visit while still in the exam room. They had the wrong name on the bill. They had to go peel the wrong name off our blood test containers. What kind of place charges you while still in the exam room?!?!
While I was waiting to pay my bill, a little old lady came in with a small dog that she said had just had a seizure. The tech told her there was nothing they could do for her and that she needed to go to the emergency vet. Apparently there isn’t enough money in treating seizures. They were open for business and I was the only other customer in the place.
Young’s animal hospital didn’t care about my dog. All they care about is money. I understand that they have to make money but their deceptive practices to charge extra were very evident. I would highly recommend to stay away from this place!

I brought my new yorkie puppy there and they've done an amazing job! She wasn't taking food and was too skinny after I picked her up. She seemed so tiny, vulnerable and lethargic. I called my long term Veterinarian's clinic at Port Saint John called Parkway Animal Hospital. I tried to make a reasonable appointment even willing to wait a couple days for them to work me in but they said NO callously. It was not a completely urgent situation but I noticed the puppy had fleas and being under two pounds, I wasn't sure what to do to treat them. They were sucking too much blood. I called Young's Clinic and they agreed very compassionately to see me the next morning early after listening to me patiently on the phone describe my concerns. They were not dismissive and they did not tell me I had to wait weeks for an appointment the way my regular Veterinarian's office did. They advised me to take her to the E.R. veterinarian's office if she grew worse but they agreed otherwise to see her the next morning. I called late in the evening BTW. They were amazing and took care of my fur baby's issues, made me feel appreciated and addressed all my concerns.

The Thrive program they offer really helps make vet care affordable! The staff is AMAZING and you could tell they really care about your animals. I take all of my animals here. They also are compassionate and supportive especially when my pup crossed the rainbow bridge.
