I randomly started getting spammed with marketing texts from this salon tonight after 9pm on a Tuesday after not being there for years nor signing up for marketing texts all those years ago. Julio was great my first time seeing him. The second time, I rebooked him on his website as he suggested. I booked well in advance and multiple services totaling around 6 hours worth of his time and was prepared to pay for that time and the services. A couple of days prior to my scheduled and accepted appointment, he called me to tell me that I did not know what I wanted, that I booked things wrong, and he would fix it in the system, and I shouldn't worry. I came in for my appointment and explained what I wanted. He told me he wouldn't have the time because he only scheduled me for 2 hours and he had other clients. I reminded him that I originally booked for much more time and service than that, and that he assured me he knew what was best so I trusted him. He ended up rushing the service and making me feel very guilty. I still tipped well. After I left, he texted me saying he forget to take pictures of my hair for his Instagram. He asked me if I would take some for him when I got home. I did dedicate some time to try and do this but I am extremely busy in life, don't have professional lighting, and it's difficult to take pictures of the back of my head. Also, I didn't necessarily want the inside of my apartment to be posted on his social media, I ended up giving up and forgetting about it. When I was ready for a bang trim, he ghosted me multiple times until I just gave up. I have no idea why after all these years I am getting marketing texts from his salon after 9pm on a Tuesday because according to the TCPA even if I did give written consent, that still violates the law, and I did not give written consent as I have not spoken to Julio or Flow salon since 2022.

When you walk in to a family-run business who cares about their customers and clients, you feel it! Flow Salon was that business for me yesterday - I’ve been on the hunt for a new manicure artist, and to say I feel like I found home, is an understatement! Thank you for kindly greeting me, your attention to service, and being patient with a clumsy visitor like me, and mostly, for my incredible nails, Ari! Amazing salon and team!

I went to Ariana for a gel x tips manicure after having a nightmare of a time trying to find a new manicurist. She was highly recommended and her work on instagram is beautiful. My nails were short at the time after going through a rough patch, so Ariana offered the gel x tips and said we would do this 1-2 more times over the next couple of months to give my nails time to grow, then we would switch to the traditional builder gel. I had a lovely experience. We chatted, shared some common interests etc and it was a positive vibe. It did take over two hours which was extreme but I knew that it wouldn't always take this long. We spoke about when I would come in next etc, I left happy and all was well. I especially loved how her dad (owner of the salon) welcomed my dog into the space. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I text to book my follow-up appointment. Ariana informs me that she is no longer doing the gel x tips and advised me to soak them off myself with acetone.... She explained that she prefers working with the natural nail and that most of her clients want the reg gel anyways. Ok that's fine, but why not do the gel x tips for the few on occasoin who request it? It's a more expensive service... but fine. When I asked if she would consider making an exception for one more appt for the tips for me (and then we'll switch to her preference) she replied simply "no unfortunately I cannot." I asked if she would be willing to remove the nails and she said she could remove them for a $40 fee ten days from now. I'll had that she was not apologetic about this at all and very matter of fact which just seemed rude and careless. For a young woman beginning her business in her father's salon, still living at home, she certainly doesn't seem interested in maintaining quality relationships with her clients. Nor does she understand going the extra mile for the customer. It's a shame because she does do good work but sadly I've been burned by yet another half-assed manicurist in this town. With the willingness to fulfill her commitment to one more gel x tip service, she would have had a loyal client for the foreseeable future who would send all her friends. Just a bad business mindset and a shitty situation. I wish you luck.

I met with Julio this past Saturday for the first time. I’ve been looking to replace my current stylist after 25+ years he is retiring and I’m so glad I found Julio I absolutely love my haircut and I’m seeing him again this week to fix my color. I’m looking forward to it.Great place and he is awesome!

I came here a little while ago for my first cut with Julio, after my stylist of 10 years abruptly quit doing hair (we are happy for her, off to bigger and better things). I put off my cut for 8 months because the thought of finding a new stylist was scary and daunting, you just never forget your first accidental mullet at Hair Cuttery...Julio was professional and I love the haircut he gave me. I intend to become a regular of his in the years to come. Julio was kind, thoughtful and a great conversationalist during my appointment, we laughed and chatted the whole time, I nearly forgot why I was there until he spun me around and revealed a beautiful blow out. His salon was immaculately clean and he offers a variety of beverages to chose from. Overall I highly recommend visiting Flow Salon. He told me they do a variety of other services there including nails, I hope to one day visit and try out those other services.Julio is wonderful, and you will not regret being serviced by him.Services: Haircut

My wife and I did not even experience the slightest bit of what those bad reviews said…. My wife and I recently visited flow salon(09/08/2021). I for a men’s haircut and her to get he lashes done as we both heard nothing but outstanding reviews about Julio and Fine China Lashes located inside Flow Salon. My experience was absolutely amazing. Julio was very professional, on-time, organized, and very clean. My wife stated Fine China Lashes was as professional,, on-time, and very clean as well! Julio brought my hair inspo to reality and I will definitely be returning again. My wife loved her lashes as well as Fine China Lashes did exactly what she wanted. If I were you, Id take the bad reviews with a grain of salt.. This salon deserves 10 stars. DEFINITELY BOOK AND FIND OUT HOW GREAT THEY ARE! ☺️Services: Haircut
