Awesome thrift store with a good cause. I can't vouch for the pharmacy because I haven't used it, but the store is always clean and organized and the staff is always kind and accommodating. I've been able to get all sorts of things including clothes, bookends, drinkware, and even a $3 computer monitor that have made my move back to Florida so much easier.

Samson is amazing and super helpful. I LOVE this store. The prices are extremely good and selection is great for housewares. You're sure to find a gem.

I usually go for my free HIV testing . It's fast, efficient, professional with the much needed touch of compassion and lightness during a test that could bring some stress .

This WAS the thrift store I loved...today the assistant manager and the cashier did everything they could to destroy my loyalty. To start, yes I bought there a lot really a lot of stuff between clothes and lamps, even a huge rug.Staff is (as many say here) just not prepared and definitely are not costumer service oriented.Tons of attitude, they only smile and chat with their friends that visit there, never say thank you for shopping and never ever for donations. But today everything was out of control. I was willing to buy a lamp, a piece of decoration and some little shot glasses. The cashier was fairly kind, asked for a revision of price of the lamp, the assistant manager Bill said no (weirdly because "the item haven't been long enough at the store yet" ). No big deal, was about to pay, mentioned to the cashier I have my phone number registered he proceeds, the little screen asks me to insert my card I do it. Everything ok, but the guy never asked me to put my phone number to get the usual points and so.Well, I said, just void the transaction and let's do it again. Here started a complete non sense episode.Assistant manager said there are no refunds, never asked refund, I was going to buy stuff. He literally not even took a minute to think an alternative to solve the issue and said that's it and "I am leaving now "AND HE LEFT!!! SHOCKINGLY the cashier of course just said he couldn't do anything and that there was no one can help me...while we were talking and I was trying to make him understand how illogical was this, a lady that was seated in a sofa doing nothing (that is for sale) yells to the cashier "HOW MUCH LONGER TO GET OUT OF HERE" again I was shocked, saw here, saw the cashier and ask do you know her? And he immediately turn extremely aggressive and kind of trying to treating me said THAT'S MY MOM SO YOU BETTER...I couldn't believe it...what is the mom getting in the sons jobs issues? Being rude to a costumer from the store were he works!!! And the kid instead of acting as a man and being professional and ask his mom to stay aside, threatens the COSTUMER!!!!!At this point I said to myself enough, i left the stuff and called my bank to dispute the transactionbecausei didn'ttook anythingBTW I DROVE FROM BRICKELL TO WILTON MANORS to visit your store today (your welcome)You won't see me again there for shopping nor donations and I will say any and every single person I know how bad is this store. Hope it is closed soon. The one in Sunrise is better and the one in Biscayne Blvd even better. Not to mention Goodwill and The Collective on Wilton drive for really quality stuff.PS I drove to POVERELLO and spent 3 times what I was about to spend in your store.

The store is fine, good selection. My rating is based on my multiple experiences donating household goods and clothes. The older guy (manager?) who frequently comes out to collect the donations is so rude. He shakes his head as if he’s disappointed and disapproving, saying “no no no” to many items in good shape. He acts like he’s doing me a favor by accepting anything, as if he’s paying me or something. I understand the store doesn’t need certain items, but he doesn’t need to be rude about it.

So much fun to dig around here! I recently bought a condo in Boca Raton and have been able to find good quality clothes and decorative items for my second home. And I'm glad to support their mission of providing health care for people with AIDS.

Bill R (or B) is very rude and unpleasant. I love out of the closet and I have been shopping and donating there since I moved to the city. This morning I stopped by to drop off a small bag of clothing and I when the door swung open I was met by Bill who immediately started barking at me about leaving stuff outside (which I wasn't) and how I was there too early (it was 9:55, I was unaware they begin taking donations at 10:00). I feel there could have been a better way to handle the situation rather than opening the door guns a blazing with a nasty attitude. I see from the reviews that I am not the first person to have an issue with this individual. I am always treated with kindness and respect at Pavarellos, perhaps that is the better choice for my donations going forward.

A wonderful store to support! They have a good selection of men's and women's clothing along with home goods and lots of accessories. This location has a smaller selection of women's clothing, but they do have great pieces selected. Never know what you will find. Staff is incredibly friendly as well!

Turned away from making donation by Assistant Mgr Bill R. ( Not Interested, were his exact words, no Furniture, no kitchen items, only Art and Frames).Apparently they are too full, so I will donate to a Organization that will appreciate it!

DO NOT SHOP HERE! DO NOT DONATE HERE! I tried for WEEKS to drop off clothes my partner and I had gathered but was having a difficult time meeting the times of donation. The donation times seem to vary for different days. Every time I call, I have received a different answer. These bags have been sitting in my car for weeks and I got off work a little early today but made sure to call so that I didn't drive out for nothing. I called the store and was told 6:45 is when they stop taking donations. I pull up to the donation door and ring the door bell at 6:30. No answer. So I walk inside and let them know I was in the back. The gentleman behind the counter said he would meet me out back for my donation. I pull everything out of my car for no one to be out back. So I ring the bell again and a very elderly gentleman comes back and tells me no donations. I explain to him that I called and was told 6:45. He told me that never happened and that no one would tell me that. He's the manager and that didn't happen. I'm not sure what the problem is with dropping off bags of clothes while the store is still open but I will tell you that there is a clear change of tone from the people that work here when you inquire about donations. They wouldn't take it! And told me that I was lying! I have to assume the donations give them work and that is the reason for the attitude. I will never ever shop at this place again and will gladly donate my things elsewhere(after I load them back into my car AGAIN!) Terrible terrible service with even worse management.

The Out of the Closet Thrift Store was founded in 1990 to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Healthcare Foundation. This particular store is right on Wilton Drive, very close the the City Hall. There's a large selection of departments...clothing, art, home decor, Christmas decorations, small electronics, etc....The prices are very good and the quality of some of the merchandise is also very good....like any thrift store, you have to spend time to find your treasure..... To this day, when you shop or donate at Out of the Closet, 96 cents of every dollar made goes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV prevention and treatment services. That's why OTC is able to offer high-quality HIV testing services at all of their locations. When you choose to shop at these stores, you're giving back to the community and making a real difference in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
