I got here 5 minutes before closing because of traffic and got out of work late. The had already shut and locked the doors. Poor customer service as everyone looked at me inside also. Some of us are on tight schedules and expect a federal entity to be open on their listed hours. If you close the doors before 5, you should state that. Otherwise, the establishment should be open until it’s listed hours.
Edit: as I was driving away, all 3 workers decided to stare at me and laugh as they walked to their cars. Seriously thinking about closing my account and banking elsewhere

Understaffed and the only Truist branch I ever had an issue with. Multiple times the same miserable attitude and unhelpful staff

Been to this very branch numerous times now, Rita, Rose, and Victor has been nothing short of knowledgeable and professional. I opened my small business and personal checking at this branch, I am very happy with all the services and help the team has provided since. Highly recommend

I opened a business account here without reading any of the reviews here. That was my mistake. After a couple of months, my account was hit with all kinds of fees - withdraw limit fee, fee to receive Zelle payments, fee to turn on wiring options, etc. You name it. When I asked the banker, she asked me why I didn’t read their hundred page disclosure documents. I closed my accounts within 3 months and walked away. I would never start any accounts with Truist bank any more.

Absolute WORST! No tellers, usually two people at most in this location when I come in and not once have I been able to get my business done. There's always something that requires me to go to another location. They should just move this location and put another fast food restaurant or something up!

I HATE TRUIST!!! Would switch banks if redoing my direct deposit wasn’t such a pain. Stupid banker was racist towards me asking if my last name was Japanese. I then had to come in to get a temporary debit card and of course I get the same guy and he forgot to activate the card so I got stuck with a decline! Never have issues with Discover!!!!

Truist just does not care ever since the merge. I walked into this branch last year to close all of my accounts. Did the manager close all of them? No. They left my credit card open after confirming everything was closed. End of the year rolled around and apparently I owe a renewal fee for a card I closed. When does Truist send me the first letter about this? May 2023. Why wouldn't they come collect sooner you ask? Here's why - when you call they won't waive any fees unless you call within 30 days. How can I do that when I closed this account in person.Just another reminder of why Truist lost all of our accounts. Almost on par with the summerport location that told my dad as he closed his accounts "we don't really care if people close the accounts because so many people forget they have accounts with us."Terrible business that only gets away with this because it's a bank. Open your accounts at any of the other 5 banks within walking distance of this branch and save some headache.

We have bank accts. with BBT and Suntrust and don't really have to deal in person so much so everything is fine. However I took my daughter to open an account with the Truist Hamlin branch on saturday and there are no customers in but us. The woman greeted us, we told her we want to open a new act and dep. a check also ,she had us take a seat, she did a deposit for me while we waited. The branch manager got up walked past us to a customer walking in, asked her if she was helping us and she said yes! He takes the other "walk in" customer to help him and when I asked her about opening the account she said the branch manager will have to do it. I asked her why did she not tell hm that when he asked, she said "well we really only work of appt. on saturdays. So, I asked why did you not say that when we walked in, the other guy clearly didn't have an appt, from what he told the manager..No other customers in the bank but us, but have us wait for no apparent reason and then don't open your mouth to tell the manager why we are there, he was in his office right in front of us by himself when we got there..what kind of service is this? I guess its better to sit and do nothing and wait in case the rush of customers come in than to help a customer that is already there.

We experienced the worst racial discrimination trying to open a checking account. I took my 2 son’s to the branch on a Friday to open a checking account. My oldest son is 20 years old and the other is 14. Andrea who is the branch manager of the location repeatedly asked my sons where were they born and if the were a US citizen. When I say repeatedly she asked about 10 times. Because of their race and how they were dressed Andrea (branch manager) harassed them. Anyways, each time Andrea (branch manager) asked my sons answered yes that they are US Citizens and both are born here with a social security number. Once again my sons stated their current home address. Andrea (branch manager) was provided with all the proper documents to show their current residence. They even showed their FL ID and passports. But in the end, she was not willing to open their bank accounts. I went back home to retrieve their social security cards, passport book, HUD Settlement that shows the current address. Returned to the branch with all the proper identification and this time along with my eldest daughter. Again, Andrea (branch manager) lied and said we didn’t have proper documentation. Andrea lied and stated their system did not approve my sons and daughter to open a bank account. Andrea needs to be terminated from her position at Truist Bank because she is a extremely bad example of what an honest, non-discriminatory bank representative should be. With all of the racial discrimination cases right now that we have in our country this should not be treated lightly. It was a very negative and horrible experience that I would not want to have to happen to anyone.I have provided the information to her boss Collin Meadows (SVP) and Vivek Sabnani (Truist Area Manager).
