Amazing venue full of character and rich detail. Went to a cocktail event here and was not disappointed!

This venue has moved to 57 Forsyth street in Atlanta. We had our wedding here and we are so glad that it went well! The space is beautiful. The only reason it is getting a lower rating is because of our experience with the on site wedding coordinator. We would go for a month or more after emailing without a response and would be afraid of being scammed. So overall, if you don't mind poor communication and love a unique venue, then this place is perfect. We truly had a wonderful wedding day but the months leading up were filled with unneeded anxiety and fear due to the poor communication.

Perfect venue for the Candlelight event we went to. We circled the block a few times trying to find this venue, it was obvious on foot but not as noticeable driving by. All of the staff was professional and friendly. Once we checked in for the Candlelight event we were seated at a high top table. The stage was elevated so there weren't any bad seats. They offered beer and wine for alcoholic beverages at the bar. The ambiance was intimate and the decor was perfect. We listened to tunes by D'Angelo and Jill Scott. The duo singing both had amazing voices and put their own spin on each song. I've been to several Candlelight events but the one here a La Maison Rouge was my favorite. I hope to come back for more events.

Don’t let her handle your wedding. Avoid at all cost. After two years still waiting for our money back from promises still unkept.Nothing but excuses. Over and over. One star is a compliment.

The charm and style from their previous Paris on Ponce is back! This is a really fun and stylish new event venue in the historic and charming Healey Building. Plenty of amenities and room for a dance floor, several bars, food spread and a great time.

I have been to this event space numerous times and each time the owner has went out of their way to ensure the staff and herself did everything they could to make the event wonderful, she gives her heart and soul into every event!!!! Most honest hard working business owner I ever had the privilege to meet!!!!!!!

Do not trust this business owner. She will sell to you with a smile, but she does not keep her promises. My wedding was planned to be at the original Ponce location, but of course the fire in November 2019 happened. That combined with the onset of the pandemic, my March 2020 wedding definitely didn't happen. We had paid our venue fees in full (for a discount). With that in mind, and with faith in possible renovations, we stuck by the business owner to give her a chance to recover from a tragic situation. However, after many communication breakdowns and realizing things were beyond wrong, my partner and I decided that we did not want to get married at the new Forsyth venue. Nicolette promised us our money back. She still owes us $3,100!!! If you want your wedding to be the worst day of your life, hire her!

The owner is not to be trusted. My cousin, Dana, paid for the venue in full. Then the fire and COVID happened, so her wedding didn't. But the owner never refunded her money, and it has been years!!! If the business was legitimate, insurance should have allowed outstanding debts to be paid. BEWARE.

This business owner will take your money and run! Before the old location burned down, a friend of mine pre-paid for her wedding. She’s been trying in good faith to work things out with the business owner for years now… No luck. (See Dana Olsen Smith review)

Curious about the dining and food options at the venue for events such as Candlelight. I went to their website and the site looks like an Indonesian gambling site. There is nothing to find on the site about the venue. Okay I just checked the FAQs and it reads "no food or beverage permitted", I would assume this mean you cant bring food and drink in SO does the venue offer food and drink at the venue, I cannot tell. The website is not viable enough in offering details. Oh, before I forget, there are reviews about how great the venue is for weddings in the last weeks to a month but nothing further.

I just got married here in January, and words cannot describe how amazing the entire experience was. Nicolette the owner and wedding coordinator was so graciously above and beyond helpful with everything! As a new bride and planning my wedding on my own I had so many questions and concerns and she was so available even if I was (most likely) being incredibly annoying. We paid to rent out the atrium of the Healey building (separate from the event space, just upstairs) on her recommendation and I CANNOT GET OVER how absolutely gorgeous and magical it was, especially to just go downstairs for the reception into the beautiful Maison Rouge and surprise all the guest with its glory (We chose to get married here because the space needs NO extra decoration). I'm just so beyond impressed and in love. The dressing room bathrooms was such a nice touch too, On site getting ready! Just to have Nicolette come and scoop you up and point you to the aisle. La Maison Rouge is such an Atlanta icon and I am so proud and blessed to have been married there. Side note: they have moved downtown and the building is historic and gorgeous. Some how adds even more to the eclectic class that place demands.
