Worst location within the trust bank community. Washington DC, Good Hope Road SE. As a bank account holder I was denied the right to use the bank notary because the manager said that he was unsure as to what my papers were for. They were my mortgage papers a long with my ID. I had all required documents yet I was denied. The company logo was on the document a long with contact information. I reached out to trust complaints line 2 weeks again. As of today I have received a response. Extremely unhappy with my experience.

I would never willingly do business with Truist. I only have experience with them as a mortgage loan company, so I can't speak to the rest of their business ventures. I am "not allowed" to set up an online account with Truist because my phone plan is not in my name. I'm married and share the same last name with my husband, but the phone account is in his name. Truist has stated there is no other way to verify my identity, even though every time I call, I have to answer a multitude of security questions, including name, phone number, email, last four digits of my social security number, property address, mailing address, and more. Other than receiving paper statements and having my bank send a mortgage check every month, hoping nothing happens to the check in transit, I have no way to go online and check my account. So last night, when their computer glitched and sent out an email stating I missed a payment, I had to wait an hour and a half to speak with a representative, only to be told, "Oh yes, the computers glitched; many people received that email." If I'd been able to log on and view it myself I wouldn't have wasted an hour and a half on hold. It's 2023, Truist. I shouldn't need my own phone account to view my mortgage online. Do better. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is I could understand the people on the phone when I finally reached someone and it's not their fault they have to follow outdated policies that hurt their customers.

Had a concern about my mortgage. After being "on hold" and listening to how much Truist values my patience-I hung up after 59 minutes. I honestly don't think anyone would have ever spoken to me. Do not recommend callong 844-487-8478.

As we prepare to close out the New Year, I want to give Truist bank recognition for costing me thousands of dollars, not resolving a foreign bank taking money out of my account for now 3 months and the worst customer service. If I can prevent any other small business from banking with them, then I feel like I have helped others out. Please share this as much as possible and tag Truist so we can keep others from potentially being damaged by their lack of security and accountability.Time to seek another bank and an attorney I guess.

Truist employees are very disrespectful argumentative if I don't give them my whole social security number and routing account number they hold the call for 3 hours to stop me from taking to a supervisor all this over a claim for fraud on the account the employees think this game is they can't control the situation they want do anything to solve the situation the supervisor are okay with this type of activity on a recorded line no matter what bank I use most of my time is spent worrying about my money in these bank institutions this has been on going situation repeatedly over and over

Please Be Aware of Truist Billing Practices; Despite doubling my minimum payment, I observed a 300% increase in the minimum payment amount, even as my overall balance decreased. In my attempt to address this matter, I spent over three hours on hold, awaiting assistance. Subsequently, I requested to escalate the issue from a supervisor to a manager, only to encounter further confusion.Regrettably, neither the supervisor nor the manager could provide a satisfactory explanation for the sudden surge in my minimum payment or shed light on Truist's billing practices. It was disconcerting to discover that even the manager was unable to articulate the bank's billing practices. All I seek is a clear understanding of the reasons behind the substantial increase in my business credit card bill, especially when the overall balance is decreasing. This lack of transparency raises concerns about the legality and ethics of Truist's billing practices. In light of these circumstances, I feel compelled to seek further clarification on the matter and understand whether such practices align with legal and ethical standards. I plan to ask Channel 2 New investigators to take a look at this after my accountants sends their thoughts on this matter.

This bank is an easy target for Fraud and their Fraud department is not able to help. I won't go into details but we lost money that could have been prevented if they acted like a Fraud department this would not have happened. I am out of there soon. Go to your small town bank and know who you are dealing with.

Went there to open a business account. It was only one teller and 2 people in office in which one was about to leave. While waiting until the other bank officer was done talking to a customer the office banker said whats up. No hello how I may help you my first thought was like wow where did they get her from. So we went into the office and she told my NAISC Code was incorrect reflecting Dental supplies and I would have to make an appointment to come back after explaining my schedule. I also said I would update the code when I got home. I got home and my code said 42 / and it was under medical/ dental supplies medical equipment and wholesale merchant trade (423450). I thought that was and tried to attempt an update without processing it and it gave me the same info that I already had. So I went to another branch and they helped get the account open. I was like thank you because that Leslie person apparently didn't want to process the information and wasn't forthcoming on my code in the system. Terrible.

Cord, my personal banker is courteous, smart, and willing to assist with all of my banking needs. Always pleasant when I walk into 3020 Peachtree Road. We need more bankers like him!

This bank is a nightmare to deal with. The customer service leaves me lost for words. They discriminate and and talk down to on the phone. I've been on hold for over an hour just to make a payment.
