Chicken livers were good. Turkey and Dressing was bland and not homemade. Cheeseburger looked good , but the meat tasted spoiled. We initially thought it may have been the cheese, but it was definitely the meat. We threw the burger in the trash. Overpriced at 62.00 for a liver appetizer, cheeseburger, and turkey & dressing, especially considering the fact that most of it was to awful to eat.

A bit of Old School Atlanta continues. If you are from Atlanta, most likely you'll appreciate dining here. The bourbon and sling were refreshing. My Little Princess had calf liver, rice and gravy, and sweet potatoes. Having worked as a kid at Mary Mac's she missed the pecans and marshmallow toppings with a little more cinnamon as served there back in the day, otherwise the sweet potatoes were tasty. My catfish, rings, and caesar salad were perfect.Ms. Valerie. although very busy this evening was very helpful with a couple of requests and appropriately attentive during our dining experience. But, y'all don't listen to me, I'm the last native Atlantan in this here town, so what do I know?

An exceptionally good yet old school Southern Dining restaurant! Incredible food, bar and table service! For starters, I highly recommend their shrimp cocktail and an Old Fashioned! From there you can't go wrong and don't forget dessert!

What a true Southern delight. All the dishes you are looking for - fried chicken, fried chicken livers, cucumber salad, collard greens, the list goes on. Plus amazing and strong cocktails. The bartender knows her stuff. Make the trip and enjoy a true Southern dinner. Leave the guilt from all the calories at home. Your waistline won't mind for one night. ?

The restaurant refusef to seat our party until the entire group of 5 arrived. We asked that the restaurant hold our usual table until our entire party arrived. Two of our party were held up in traffic because of road construction. When they arrived, we found that our table for 5 had been given to ONE person. If they had seated the 3 of us before the entire group arrived, we would have bought drinks and they would have made much more money than the ONE person they seated gave them!

Fabulous fried chicken in a legendary Georgia restaurant. Also loved the sweet potato souffle..all washed down with good ol' southern iced tea.

Excellent in all ways. The restaurant was open promptly at 5pm. Wait staff was quick, accurate, and attentive. I ordered the fried chicken (mix of white and dark), the dressing with gravy, and mac 'n cheese. Everything was fantastic!! My waitress also made sure I had plenty to drink.I wanted to visit because the guys on stuff you should know podcast mentioned Colonnade had good GA fried chicken, and they were right! It was worth it for me to endure traffic to get there.Parking: BIG parking lot. Plenty of room.

Honestly this was my first time dining here and I got the fried chicken and a side salad with ranch . My mom got the same thing and honestly we both felt the ranch had a sweet taste and the salad was nasty . Maybe the salad was nasty because of the lettuce maybe some romain or something would've been better. The chicken wasn't really flavorful but it was fresh and hot. The waitress was nice but the sweet tea wasn't sweet. All in all everyone is entitled to their own opinions but would I dine here again? No !

10/10 would definitely recommend! The Colonnade is no frills, American comfort food. Everything we had was amazing. The fried chicken is seasoned just enough. No hot sauce needed to eat it. The drinks were strong and the strawberry shortcake has us fighting for the last spoon. What an unexpected surprise. I see why it’s been around so long. The diners are typically senior in age but that adds to the charm. I’ll be back for sure.

What a shame that this once iconic restaurant has fallen so low. Been going for over 40 years and I have gone for my last time. There was not enough staff to open the entire dining room on a Saturday night. The fried shrimp, my favorite, arrived way too late and cold. They were priced at $18 before the pandemic and are now listed at $25. I wasn't concerned with the price increase except the bill charge was actually $28 without an acknowledgement in advance. It's sad.

This is the oldest restaurant in Atlanta. My niece n her husband were visiting from New Orleans (where the food is amazing.) They were soo impressed by the Colonnade. Our waiter was wonderful; he told us some great stories of the history of the restaurant. A great time was had by all.Food: 5/5

From the outside it looked like a great place. Very deceeptive. The sign says, "since 1927." That was probably when the place was last decorated. Not sure how they survived that long. The online menu is incorrect. The prices for average meals is $24. Much higher than the quallity. Service was fair and the hostess and cashier should retire. Poor attitudes. Save your time and money.
