Ms. Adrian was very professional and friendly. She went above and beyond my hair care needs during my appointment. I had been looking for a salon professional that could not only style but treat my natural hair due it had gotten out of control over the past several months. Two young ladies that I know recommended that I give Adrian Holmes a try. When I walked into the salon I felt welcomed. There was not a time during the appointment that she did put a product onto my hair without letting me know what it was. Throughout the consultation and actual service Ms. Adrian made sure she educated me on what services she provided, the health of my hair, what may be causing breakage, shedding, wellness, what products to use, etc. It honestly was like being a doctor office during the consultation but trust me I am so glad she made it that way. During the wash process of my hair, Ms. Adrian gave an awesome and much needed scalp massage. Having her massage my scalp really relaxed me and made me forget about all of the stress that I had experienced earlier this week. It literally felt like my body had melted in the chair during that massage. I highly recommend The Designers Original Salon if you are looking for a professional and great experience. I can’t wait to see the improvement of my hair’s health in the upcoming months ahead. Relaxed hair, natural hair, young or older Ms. Adrian will get your hair back to life. Thank you Ms. Adrian!

I been looking for someone that would wash & braid my hair for the longest. Not too many I found would wash your hair along w/ doing it especially men hair. From the day I called to set appointment to the day of my appointment, everything was professional. I got my hair washed & scalp scrubbed thoroughly, I might of fell asleep during b/c it felt so good. Ms. Adrian explained each process of what she was doing & how it helps w/ growth & healthier hair. Its been 20yrs since the last I had grew my hair out, so getting back into the swing of things of maintaining it like back then was my main concern & she understood where I was coming from & said she got me. Well she got a new client for sure...cant beat the price too

I am white and Ms Holmes looked at my hair and said sure she could do it she was a great hairdresser, it only took her 25 min to make my head look 100% better I would highly recommend her

Absolutely recommend! I am transitioning with thick coarse hair and have been struggling greatly with my dry and flaky scalp for years. My stylist was booked and I was in need of a shampoo and rod set. She examined my hair and went to work!!! The shampoo was AH-MAZING!!! She really took her time and treated my scalp. The scalp massage was awesome too. This was the first time I had a perm rod set and I LOVE it!! And my hair dried in record time. When it was done, my scalp was completely clean!!! I received so many compliments!

If you are looking for a professional, talented, field- educated, and all-around good hair stylist with a great personality, look no further!I was in desperate need of some hair TLC from a professional and I left Mrs. Adrian's chair feeling like a queen!Not only did she do my hair, but she also took time out to educate me about my natural hair and what products would work best with my hair type. Most importantly, I felt 100% comfortable during my appointment as she is following all CDC guidelines to include checking your temp at the door and sanitation/cleaning throughout the appointment. I will definitely be a permanent customer and will be back soon!

I was there to witness the code inspector give adrian (the owner) a review and he gave her an outstanding review. He said her shop was a modeled shop and that she should be a teacher and a example to other spas and salons. He also said that they don’t need to inspector her salon for another 3 years because her salon was just that great! But they will because they enjoy seeing what they hope to be in other salons. Thank you Adrian for outstanding service, it was an honor witnessing greatness!

My consultation with Adrian was professional and informative. She’s extremely knowledgeable about hair and the proper care of it. She took the time to look at the condition of my scalp and hair and gave some amazing suggestions(that worked amazingly by the way). I can’t wait for my first appointment. I’d recommend her to anyone in search of a stylist or anyone who needs insight on the health of their hair.

I first have to say thank you so much. I was greeted when i first walked in. Ms. Adrian engaged in conversation with me while i waited and then when it was my turn we talked about my hair and she is very knowledgeable. Not only did she know what my hair needed just by touching it but she explained how i could fix the shedding problem i was having. She explained each step of the service to me and we talked alot. But OMG HER SCALP MASSAGES ARE AWESSSSOOOOOMMMEE. THANK YOU SO MUCH this was a GREAT experience. I have already booked again. I felt welcomed and i know she knew what she was doing to my hair.
