Angie and Matthew were amazing hosts. The place has a lot of stairs to get to the upper cabins and a little aged on the outside. The room was super clean and very cozy. Breakfast every morning was different and delicious. I would definately stay again. Bring a Roku or fire stick because not many channels to watch, basic cable. Very close to many waterfalls and hiking spots. Cannot say enough about the service, after a heavy rain they even dried my tennis shoes so we could hike the next day. Thank you.

We really like this place. Im currently sitting in the dining area having coffee while courteous staff prepare a home cooked breakfast. Our room was great. When I past a staff member I was always asked if I needed anything or how my room was. The man that gave us our key was very nice and had alot to share about the area. There is a down home, your with family, feeling here. When we come again we will definitely stay here.

My GF Pat & I just spent a long weekend here. Angie & Matt were amazing hosts. The room was larger than I expected. BFB&B was located very close to the main area of town. It was within walking distance of everything. The breakfast each morning was again, bigger than I expected. Dozens of items available & all of them delicious. 10/10 & definitely recommend this gem.

My wife and I came to Helen, GA to visit, for me the first time, this B&B was the perfect place to set up as a base. Our hosts were very nice, friendly and helpful in every way. The room was very cozy and quiet. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Wow! More than I expected. The warm hospitality of this family, who runs this bed and breakfast is unmatched in my travels. I wish I could have stayed forever. They home cook breakfast for you every morning and their pancakes are to die for! I had Bueberry, Walnut, Apple, and Sweet potato! Scramble eggs with cream cheese and a selection of fruits and meats and all the extras where fantastic! Coffee great too! Touches of Germany everywhere and you can even eat your breakfast outside next to the Koy waterfall/pond. I stayed in the Black Forest Cabin and it was hard to leave every day to go out and explore the the Helen. The family made you feel like you were at home away from home. They constantly asked if you need anything, just let us know! When I arrived, they walked me around and showed me everything and then, they also took time to show all the hot spots around Helen on a map. I've never had a hotel go into that depth to make sure their customers are happy. Stationed in Germany for 6 and a 1/2 years I definitely felt I went back in time! Thank you Terry, Angie and Denise! God bless you all and I will definitely be back!

Nearby activities: Anything you want is within walking distance... A ton of restaurants, shopping, tubing, grocery store, churches, and taverns!!!
Safety: The family stays on site, so they're always walking around and making sure we're happy!
Walkability: Everything is within a ten or fifteen minute walk.
Food & drinks: Anything you want to eat is nearby.

We had the best time Aug 2nd to the 5th 2024. We stayed in fishing cabin #8 the jacuzzi tub was a bonus after a hike to Raven Cliff which was really close too. It is a quick walk to downtown Helen. Teri and his daughter run the show and they are wonderful people. The breakfast is amazing everyday .

We loved staying at the Black Forest BnB in Helen. It is a great location, right on Main Street where you can walk to everything. Angie made us super comfortable and provided all day access to the eating area with coffee, tea, chocolate, oatmeal, grits, snacks, water, etc. We got a kick out of the heart shaped jacuzzi in the room and it was very relaxing. Darlene made the breakfast which was perfect for all types with eggs, pancakes, 2 meats, cereal, and all kinds of fresh fruits. All in all we couldn't have been happier with our choice of lodging.
Nearby activities: There are several outfitters for tubing and a cute miniature golf course nearby.

We had a wonderful experience at Black Forest Bed & Breakfast, Angie was very sweet,kind informative as her boys that helped get our luggage inside and her dad helping us getting the internet going for us.We had everything we would need water,ice,toiletries and a very delicious breakfast.It was also peaceful at night.I could go on on.We are already thinking about our next get away weekend there.I highly recommend this place 100%.

These were the nicest people you will ever meet! My son and myself went on a spur of the moment trip that ended up staying two nights . The first night we stayed at a hotel that isn’t worth mentioning and the second night we ended up staying at Black Forest vacations, the room was incredible! Service couldn’t have been better! The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and I’m in my fifties! My boy slept on the couch and said it was very comfortable! They took us and our dog (normally they don’t let pets)in last minute with no reservations. I will definitely be staying here again as I plan to visit Helen GA again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rooms: Breathtaking! Clean! Would be very romantic if with spouse.
Nearby activities: Shopping, restaurants, tubing, waterfalls all close by if not in walking distance. Love this little town!
Walkability: The stairs to get to rooms got a bit much after going up and down several times but worth the view! Location is within walking distance to center of town.
Food & drinks: Breakfast was very delicious! And right across from several restaurants.
Noteworthy details: The owners were they nicest most caring people!

The service was great and the owners were very friendly. Great location, excellent breakfast (the blueberry pancake was awesome). The room was cozy with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The property in general needs some maintenance (desperately)
the landscape, the room appliances, the outdoors, but Angie was so lovely that we forgot these little things. If you are looking for a place just to sleep and have a great breakfast this is for you.
