First off the appointment was pushed out an hour after it was supposed to be. Then when I made the appointment I said I wanted cornrows wirh extensions and they only did it without it and then I requested beads be put in the hair they said they would have to charge me extra. I already paid $60 for the service so I felt the service I got was not worth $60. This will be my first and last experience with them.

The owner never responded to any of my text messages or my calls. I’m a hairstylist and if I’m not available I would at least let the customer know that I’m not available out no one’s available at the shop. That’s being a professional.

Despite the reviews, I scheduled an appointment, which I had to cancel. I did send a message letting them know that I had to cancel as opposed to just simply not showing up, I received several disrespectful, rude messages regarding me having to cancel. This only confirms the reviews I read as being true. I clearly dodged a bullet. Thank you Jesus!

She did a great job on my granddaughter hair. What I didn't like was the fact she requested full payment after she started her hair or she wasn't going to finish it. Payment should have been discussed prior to starting. They could use a business class and get a machine for payment.

Staff is rude.bad customer service. They dont give you what you ask for. Long wait times. I left my daughter there and they did other people who came after her and didn't start her until I returned and questiones them. Do not recommend.

It was my first time going here. I called same day & was able to get an appointment. I arrived about 9:40 a.m. and was done by about 2:20 p.m. The young lady that did my hair did braid a little tight but not to the point of where I was in pain or I feel like it will damage my hair. (I am also not tender headed). I did request she not braid my edges and she left them out. * * I gave 4 stars because she charged me $20 more dollars than what she originally told me on the phone. (Maybe due to having to do it a tad bit longer than shoulder length.) Then despite the fact I showed her a picture of how I wanted it she didn't crinkle/curl my braids with hot water. I ended up having to do it myself. She also snipped with scissors stray hairs after she finished. * * Overall, I am happy with how my mid back length box braids turned out. They are very neat! The women were friendly and they finished in decent time! I RECOMMEND this place IF YOU NEED YOUR HAIR BRAIDED! Just be specific and show a picture of how you want your hair. Thank you Express Braiding !

The absolute WORST service ever. After spending $150 on jumbo box braids(which IMO is overpriced) the braider didn't even finish. The ends of my braids began to unravel within the hour. I went back, she was gone. I spoke with Coumba( the owner) who said come back in the morning.i was there @8a..and they're closed. I won't be back.

I used to be a loyal customer to them. I would vouch for them in a heart beat. Been going off and on for 8 years. They have gone way down hill. Lazy. Unprofessional. Noncommittal. They did me so wrong and I will never be going back to them.
