Beware of this shop. They will do supposed work on your vehicle without authorization and charge you a mint for it. They charged me thousands for brake work (that I did not authorize), and I’m not even sure was actually done. I think that's their game, tell you that the work has already been done so you feel obligated to pay…And their rates are astronomical!! Meanwhile trying to get someone on the phone, and trying to get clear and direct information on the status of the job is nearly impossible. There are so many other more reliable, and professional shops in the area, please learn from the mistakes of others and DO NOT take your car to this place.Services: Brakes

Excellent work, certainly saved my 71 GS convertible from the eventual scrap yard!!! Still looks great after ten years.

Purchased a 1970 GSX that was restored by this shop. Previous owner spent SIGNIFICANT money and 2 and 1/2 years restoring the car. I have spent a year correcting mistakes, oversights , incorrect parts and a general lack of attention to detail. These include body panel alignment, numerous electrical problems and drive line issues. Given the time and money the previous owner invested with Then and Now to restore this car one should expect much, much better quality of work. I have restored and have had restored many cars over my life. All I can say is, “buyer be wareâ€. If you commission this shop to restore your car.

Worked with this shop for almost five years. 6 figures spent. Project estimated at $60k, and one year restoration, based on their inspecting a barn find car on my behalf onsite when it was pulled out of the barn, they also hauled it. Actual time, 4.5 years at Then and Now, and over $130k invested in restoration with them. When vehicle was received as "show ready" panel gaps were off, window alignment off (gap a large enough to put your finger through), one roll up window non functional, speedometer non-functional, wheels not refurbished in any way, paint runs, flat black stripes they painted scratched. 3k additional investment and 6 more months with a local shop and most problems resolved less scratches paint run and wheels. Disappointing experience.

On vacation and our 40 year old corvette developed a problem most area shops wouldn't touch. Fortunately, someone referred us to Then and Now. They went above and beyond the call of duty to address, not one, but two separate issues and got us back on the road the same day. As a side benefit, we toured the restoration work in progress for multiple venerable vehicles. We were very impressed and strongly recommend them to anyone needing help with a classic ride.

If you want a full resto done in 6 months... go somewhere else and pay double. If you want things done right and these guys are great. Just like anybody they'll have a hiccup or two but they always make right.

Slow work is a compliment. They don't answer the phone most of the time, and never return calls. They lie about the timeline of work progress and the work they have done. Completely disorganized shop, management lacks understanding of what really goes on or lies to customers about work done. I will never use them again. Add insult to injury... A warranty period doesn't help much. I had a list of some 12 problems that needed to be corrected. 5 months later, after about 8 hours of actual work, I got my car back finally (again for the third time). For 3 items only to be fixed. Mark (the owner) flat out LIED to me about the clear coat fixes they supposedly did. This place is absolutely sickening for what they charge. Their work can be good, but why do that if they can charge the same money for junk work.
