Wow it’s seems like during a “coin shortage “ you would be paying your customers for their change not charging them: I’ve banked with y’all for years and never been charged to deposit money into my account . Then to take my money and not tell me up front is stealing .

Necessary to change my account. Greeted when I walked in by two tellers who immediately began checking into my problem. I was directed to the assistant manager who listened to the details and suggested closing Account A and opening Account B. Said and done. Small balance left in first account to cover outstanding payments. Transferred remaining $$. Taken care of quickly and with concern for my $$. My experience in a large community was very similar to small-town banking where they know you and want to help.

Teller was rude, wanted to put a hold on a business check that was needed to be deposited and she wouldnt go get the manager, only asked for my phone # and that she’d call me, unprofessional. Worst experience I’ve had with ameris, will not go back to this branch.

This bank is a complete nightmare!!!!! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy deposit a dime in this bank. Nothing has gone smoothly with them. My no fee business account was charged fees and they claimed not to have received a mortgage payment despite showing them evidence that the funds were withdrawn for my account at another bank. That issue took four months to resolve. Now they have had my insurance check for 7 days and when I called I was told it hasn't been processed yet which will take another 5 days. Meanwhile, we have storm damage to repair and we are out of our home. The service is UNBELIEVEABLY horrible. I am in shock. Every time I think they can't be worse then the last experience, they fool me and are 10x worse. A 0 would be to high of a score this institution.

Been part of this bank awhile and they aren't terrible just really hate the fact that they don't have a 24/7 customer service line especially when you work later than their office hours and then you go to use your card and it declines even though you have plenty of money in your account.

This is the most unprofessional group of people ever. The bankers are so caught up in their titles that they will see you and you will be sitting for them ver 15mins waiting even if they have no one in front of them. They catch attitudes and are quick and short with responses... I have never been in a branch where everyone is just as horrible as the management. Currently looking for another bank.

I like the branch. Lots of nice people. But when Ameris took over fidelity, the process to check the online banking is a complete nightmare. The whole transition has been terrible and the customer service reps over the phone are a complete pain to deal with. I had long wait times, they kept giving me the wrong information and got me locked out of my online banking account. Then got upset because it takes a long time to get it unlocked.
