They were accommodating of my scheduling mixup and dropped the bike off right at my shuttle bus arrival. Answered questions I had after pickup and arrived promptly at return. Showed me how to operate the bike and had helmet, water bottle holder, aftermarket comfortable seats, handles and plenty of space to tote my travel bags.

This place is awesome! Ross, the owner, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. All I knew was I wanted to get an e-bike. He took tons of time to explain all the rest needed to think about and know, and made great suggestions. And his service can’t be beat! He got my new bike set up with a new seat and basket, and even put together and installed the bike rack on my car. He was great and I highly recommend his service!!!!

Our first experience renting and riding e-bikes was fantastic! The shop owner, Ross, was very nice and took time to explain everything to us about using the bikes and he answered any questions we had. The bikes my husband and I used were very nice and easy to drive. Our adult daughter rode an e-trike due to balance issues and it was perfect for her. She also appreciated that it had a back rest. We rode as far north as we could go, stopping at Fort Frederica on the way back. We rented for 4 hours and that was almost exactly how much time was needed for our route and stop. I want to purchase an e-bike now. If you've never tried it, you should. I highly recommend Electric Coast Island Bikes!

Incredible experience!! This place has awesome bikes and they come with everything you need (lock, basket, and helmet). The pickup place is centrally located on the island so you can do both north and South Island. There’s a nice restroom on the premises. We will 100% book here again. Make sure to book online because they can sell out quickly

Ross completely hooked me up! I had never e-biked but took to it like a duck to water. Had a blast cruising at 20 mph (!!!) down the island's fantastic multi-use path headed north from the shop toward the residential area. Really appreciated Ross taking the time to answer all my questions about bike use, routing – even where I could grab a quick lunch. Oh, and I loved the price. Would absolutely do this again.

Ross and Diane at Electric Coast bikes were so helpful; making sure the bikes fit and we knew how to use them. We spent a lovely 4 hours exploring Ft. Frederica, Sea Island and St. Simon’s bike trails. I highly recommend Electric Coast bikes.

We discovered this bike shop on a walk back to our Airbnb after breakfast at Cafe Frederica and we are so glad we did. We had been exploring online options for bikes and we had looked at Pedego but Ross was so helpful that we just really felt comfortable with the bikes he sells and the service options he provides. Now we’re off riding in the wind! Highly recommend this shop!

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do so for Ross. Had issues with my RAD bike and was getting nowhere with RAD customer service. Found out that Electric Coast E-Bikes was an authorized repair shop for RAD bikes under warranty. Ross found the issue, had the part shipped in and repaired it very quickly, and at no cost to me. A few days later the battery stopped charging. Ross reached out to RAD again on my behalf and is getting me a new battery. Amazing customer service!

Great experience with my first E-bike ride. Electric Coast has a great assortment of e-bikes and Ross was amazing. He took the time to ensure I understood the functionality of all the bikes features and make sure I was comfortable on the bike. Four hour rental was the best option. I was able to visit every one of my favorite SSI spots without tiring out in the hot sun. Can’t wait to do it again.
