great ambiance…but honestly, its true that you roll in and people ignore you for a bit before you realize that you have to order up front. The food is pretty bad, i hate to say. But I guess you go mostly for the vibe because it definitely is a beautiful place…sucks but we wont be back. People gave me the heads about it going down hill, but figured we’d check it out anyway…such a bummer

We found this place after visiting some state parks in the area. We noticed they had a limited menu on what is available each day, some specialty drinks (full bar available), nice vibe, location, and atmosphere. We decided to give it a go! We had a short wait in line before ordering our food and first round of drinks. The hostess was all smiles with a great attitude. She explained the process and we picked a nice 4 top overlooking the marsh (sit anywhere you like) The place was jumping @ 2:30pm on a Sunday. Seems like a local hangout. This restaurant does have an uncommon ordering methods and drink pickup. (They ask to take payment when you order upfront so they can have your payment on file.) We both ordered the fish (swordfish) tacos (2) that came with beans/rice. The food was not complete. The fries were hot and fresh, but the fish tacos only had a piece of blackened swordfish with sprinkled cilantro/parsley and a line of hot sauce. The photos online do not match what was ordered. Hot tip to for the kitchen…add some red cabbage, tomatoes, or other taco garnishes to make it a complete taco (hot sauce on side). Our food was okay, we won’t be ordering the fish tacos ever again. Our side of beans/rice was cold too. The bartender was hard at work and everyone was picking up their own drinks. They had food runners that looked as if they didn’t want to be there some had a smile every now and then. The kitchen is located upstairs and all the employees had to go up and down including the dirty dishes. Not a good set up for any employee. Nice bar on the waterfront, but not anything to write home about.

The best vibe ever. Right on the water, even when it’s busy it’s low key and easy to navigate. Best food and drinks. You can’t go wrong with anything there.

Would have NEVER found this place without asking a local for their recommendation - but SO WORTH the trip off the beaten path! The food and service were on par with the view, which was outstanding.

Lots of complaints for this one. The place is stupid nice to eat at, if you get there at any appreciable time. Otherwise billions of parties will just loaf here forever. There's tables inside, but they're all in disrepair. You have to get your own water, which itself isn't an issue, but it's so unclear and inconvenient to get its like bleh. The food was normal and it takes them forever to get your food out. Another reason why that crowd is probably there forever. The parking lot is sus but they do grow a few of their own herbs here.

What a great dockside restaurant! Had the oysters Rockefeller, fried shrimp, and swordfish ceviche. All delicious and made even better with a cozy dockside views of coastal wetland and channel. Birds, fish, coats breeze.

If you want a pleasant outdoor eating experience this is your spot! The food was good and the scenery relaxing. It was just what I needed as a midweek reset! The fish taco was very tasty! We will be back.?

This was my first time to The Wyld. I ordered the swordfish which is an appetizer with a side of seasoned fries however it was amazing! My date had the tacos. The atmosphere here is unlike anywhere else. It's outdoor seating along the river and enjoying the view of nature with a gentle breeze and wonderful music in the background. This is definitely worth the visit!

Great food, great ambiance. It’s a lovely casual space right on the water with views, super friendly staff, and did I mention great food?

Great spot for lunch/dinner over looking the Marsh. Best times to go is before sunset due to our sand gnats. But if you luck up and grab seating with a fan or there’s a constantly breeze. It’s the perfect outing to enjoy one of the low country tucked away gems.

This place is very casual. The views are very relaxing as you look across the marshlands. Parking is free, but limited. You order and pay at the bar as you first walk in, then find your seat. The service was fast, food was great!!

For what this business is it’s a 5 star. Yes it’s a casual water front bar and restaurant and it’s a $$ priced menu making it a place for locals but it’s execution, design and well thought out product experience and fresh menu makes it a 5.We loved this hidden gem made for locals and those who know know. It is places like these that give character and ad value to our industry of food and beverage.A must visit to experience the view, the atmosphere and everything they have to offer. If you are reading this. Go!TG

Sitting on the Wyld's dock, surrounded by open waters, big blue sky and green marsh grass is a uniquely Savannah experience. It's truly beautiful and is a good reason to dine here. The food is also fresh and flavorful, and and the seafood is caught by it's owner. We had fish tacos, with mahi mahi, which were seasoned and served with cilantro. Lots of cilantro. We also had the crispy local shrimp, which were crispy and succulent. We subbed fried okra for fries, also nice and crispy. Service is fast but pretty limited, and our table wasn't cleared. There really is no service other than food being run to your table. Portions are definitely small, which can be expected with local seafood. It's quality over quantity. The setting and local flavors are the Wyld's main appeal. There's something magical about the dock's setting. Go there for this, and the fresh local food.

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! Everything was delicious, and the service was super pleasant. I'd definitely make this a must stop while in Savannah

Very unique location and view but that’s where the positives end. Counter service and find yourself a (hopefully clean) table. With all the seafood choices in the area, we would definitely pass on The Wyld next time. We are locals and live 5 mins down the street. We enjoyed this place years back but it’s changed for the worse if you are here for good food and good service. The potions were very small and food is mediocre at best. The kids shrimp and fries had definitely been sitting under a light for a while. Very hot hard grilled shrimp and fries with the same texture. Not my first rodeo. Heat lamp dinner. Save yourself the time and $$$ and go try Fish Tales in Richmond Hill or Flyin Fish on Wilmington or Erica Davis in Thunderbolt if the seafood craving hits. All of these do it so much better.
