My great grand-father used to own the land that these buildings are sitting on. The parking lot for "maui kombucha" used to be a big building that burned down a while back, They made a landfill from the basement's foundation, under which still buries (under the foundation) an untouched room with golden treasures belonging to Māui-pōtiki and an artifact belonged to Murirangawhenua and is STILL intact today.A month and half ago this artifact started spreading signals over 5 thousand miles across the east of the ocean. One who harvested this weapon will have divine powers of healing and controlling others for the rest of their life...even during death.

I don't know where there are so many good reviews here, to be honest. The food is mediocre, not tasty. Avocado toast is no good, the bowl is too spicy.Absolutely not worth the money. It's not cozy inside, it has the atmosphere of a cheap old diner. The only thing that was tasty was the kombuccia.

Maui Kombucha is a small establishment but had a great variety of all-vegan foods to choose from. We LOVED the egg-less salad sandwich, avocado toast, and Immortality açaí bowl. Servings are a good size, especially the massive açaí bowl.

I was excited to try this place out, but prominent displays of covid misinformation wasn't very welcoming. For this reason, I didn't and won't actually try any of the products. It's possible they have customers who wouldn't've gone there if they didn't have conspiracy theory posters on their doors and windows, but they have at least one lost customer because of it.

Absolutely love Maui Kombucha, been coming for years. Favorite thing to do is fill up with a gallon of ginger turmeric and hit the beach. All their food is amazing too, I’ve never been disappointed. Absolute wizards working in the kitchen their stuff is fire!

Kombucha is decent. Chocolate bars in the fridge are amazing. Servers do not mask. Seems to be anti vaccine based on other client comments and posters on the wall.

The avocado toast is actually a waffle and just amazing, topped off with pine nuts, yummy! Lots of delicious kombucha flavors. I'll be back for sure!

The kombucha is delicious! I got the guava lime, she got the mango jasmine. We shared an Immortality Bowl. When we came most of their food menu was not available, but the bowl was delicious so that's ok. They also will fill any container you have with kombucha, so come prepared so you can get a couple of gallons. I'm very glad we went out of our way to explore this little place.

Always a wonderfully delightful experience anytime I go here. Chris is an amazing host and will make anyone feel welcome and at home with the best recommendations for the booch on tap. Do yourself a favor and buy a few quarts to save for later when you go, after you enjoy one of their raw kitchen masterpieces.

I have been going to Maui Kombucha once a week to fill up my gallon container with booch. I went in yesterday to fill 2 gallons (to share with friends), I also got the spring rolls and the lime pie. I read the ingredients listed on the packaging of the lime pie carefully and was stoked that it didn’t contain cashews (I’m allergic). I love key lime pie!I paid for everything and went out to my car to retrieve my second gallon and while I was at my car, I took a bite of the pie and then went back into the cafe to fill up my second container. As I was waiting in line a second time, I felt my body having the typical reaction it has when I have eaten cashews. Luckily, I had taken a small bite. I filled up the second gallon and then went back out to my car to get the dessert. I took it back inside and spoke to the older gentleman who had filled up my second gallon (he was wiping a table by the entrance).I asked him very politely if this particular dessert contained cashews. He immediately seemed to get defensive and upset and said, “yes, it does. In fact, pretty much everything does and if you are sensitive to cashews, then you shouldn’t be eating here.” I told him that the ingredients label did not list cashews and with it being a common allergen (nuts), that it perhaps should be on there. He even disclosed to me that this had happened to someone else recently and as he did so, I sensed his frustration toward her, as well. So strange! I also told him that I had eaten there many times with no issues at all. At this point, he grabs the pie from my hands and flings it into a nearby garbage can. He then walks up to the register (I follow) and in a way that felt almost hostile, retrieved $8.50 from the register and handed it to me. He again stated very firmly that if I was sensitive to cashews, DO NOT EAT HERE. Wow. OK. I won’t.No apology. No concern. I was treated as if it was MY fault that I had gotten dosed. And all of this after I spent almost $80 in their establishment that day. I drive from Lahaina once a week just to go there and now sadly I will not be back. If this is how they treat their on-island regulars, I feel very concerned with how they treat the tourists.
