What was supposed to be a fun trip ended up with a family member collapsing in the bathroom.
As we were shaken up, a manager who could speak Japanese explained how to arrange emergency services, how to deal with them, and medical expenses.
I sincerely thank you for being so kind to me, accompanying me to the nearby hospital, and taking care of everything else. Thanks to your support, we were all able to return home safely.
I'm really glad I chose this hotel. Thank you very much for your help.

Halepuna is just phenomenal. It has two set sides someone might mistaken. There is an ocean side and it's goes across the street for more rooms which are more of mountains view. It's one resort but they are across each other. Had the best stay, staff are very welcoming, it's close to everything. Literally you don't need car nor uber for shopping centers. They are walkable until u get tired. Food place so delicious wooow exquisite meals. Across the street is the beach . What more can you ask for? The anemities, rooms, everything is phenomenal. I loved it.

I was on a family trip and wanted a connecting room, and was told Halepuna was OK with my request, so I changed hotels, and even though I contacted them twice before my departure date, I was told that the connecting room was fully booked on that day, so I was told that I would have to wait a little earlier. No. I was really disappointed that my family's commemorative (celebration) trip fell apart. I was told it was a commemorative trip.
Rooms: The room was dark and the bathtub stopper was broken. Room cleaning, toilet paper replenishment, and bathrobes not replaced unless requested.

Love this hotel. Beautiful holiday decorations, great staff and clean modern room. Best bidet ever!
Not seen the ocean view but the city view was great. Only problem is you do hear noise from some bar on the street late at night and the trash truck early in the morning.
Recommend you get the highest floor possible if you are a light sleeper.
The hotel location is great. Close to everything. Place is quiet. No tour groups.

There are restaurants and shopping malls as soon as you step out. Although the room is small, it is indeed a Japanese-style hotel. But the hygiene level is okay✅The staff are very professional and the service attitude is quite good😌Parking is $50 per day (guests can choose valet parking for the same price of $50). They will ask you if you are going to the beach. If so, they will give you You have a hotel bag with spare towels in it.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in October 2024. Halepuna Waikiki's location is near the center of Honolulu, a short walk from Waikiki Beach, and it was in a good location with easy access to restaurants, ABC stores, and shopping.
I arrived in Hawaii around 8am, took a taxi to Halepuna Waikiki, and they left my luggage with me, so it was easy to get around and sightsee. Check-in was scheduled for 3:00 pm, but when I left my luggage, I was told that although I couldn't go into the room, I could just check in and that once the room was cleaned, they would contact me by email or phone. So, I chose the email and went straight out to play! I received a call before 3pm and was able to get into my room. Thank you for being so thorough in guiding me to the room. Prices are high in Hawaii, so I chose a room that didn't have much of a view of the ocean, but it was a little expensive. The bakery shop on the first floor of Halepuna Waikiki was delicious, so please give it a try!

It's a nice hotel with a good location and a nice view. There was free water. Breakfast is light and you can eat a little before heading out.

This hotel is beautiful and at a great location. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the lobby is clean and inviting. The holiday decor is beautiful as well. In the afternoons there is juice and cookies in the lobby. The hotel is located just behind the Halekulani hotel and mostly all immenities there are available to Halepuna guests. Loved the provided reusable water bottles! The room is clean and comfortable, and the view is beautiful. I appreciated the balcony, although the noise of the hustle and bustle below slightly dampened the appeal of the balcony. Nonetheless I spent most of my time on the balcony while at the room.

I stayed in a deluxe ocean view (twin room). The building is relatively new and the rooms, lobby, pool, etc. are clean and tidy.
Conveniently located near Waikiki Beach, trolley bus stops, shopping areas, and more.
The bakery on the first floor of the hotel is also delicious.
The reason I gave the service a 3 star is because the front staff was not very skilled and I had two bad experiences.

Rooms: Super clean and great ocean view.
Safety: Very safe
Walkability: Literally 1 min walk from Waikiki beach as well as around 5 min walk from shopping centers and restaurants
Noteworthy details: Amazing staff from beginning to end on our one week stay

Obviously this can't be indicative of *everybody's* stay, but it was incredibly disappointing when the "Mountain View" King Room's main view is a parking garage.
Kills the vibe when I'm specifically trying to book a room that DOESNT look straight at cars.

This is not part of the Hotel. This place is a poplar breakfast spot among the locals, called Musabi. Extremely delicious! Everything here is good choice. My only wish is that I purchased more!

Here now. Not the best start. I think they treat people the book through services like Hotels.com like 3rd class citizens. Looks nice and front desk seems friendly but....
