Aloha Shell is one of the few remaining mom & pop gas stations that still employ attendants offering "full service" at some of the pumps. Young ones won't know what the hell that means, so Google it! They even have a repair garage that always looks busy. No convenience store though. While I don't come here for gas, I was forced here for the HI-5 recycling redemption service, ran by Aloha Recycling. I usually patronize the location next to UHMC but their redemption center has been closed for several weeks already due to staffing, but you can still drop off recyclables there.Tucked in between the gas station and car wash is the small, dirty and bustling operation. Grab one of the netted carts, dump your separated goods in them and wheel it to the attendant. They'll print out a receipt which you take to the gas station's window cashier who'll disperse your money.OVERALL:Do your part and recycle!

Josh was super speedy and thorough finding the slow leaking in my tires and getting it fixed up! It only took about 10 minutes and was such a weight off my chest to have that patched up. Mahalo Nui to the crew here!

I recently had a nail in my tire, and Shell impressed me with their lightning-fast service and efficient tire repair. ???As soon as I pulled into the Shell gas station, their attentive staff immediately greeted me and assessed the situation. Within minutes, they swiftly attended to my tire and skillfully removed the pesky nail. The entire process was smooth, seamless, and left me thoroughly impressed. ⏱️?️??#ShellGasStation #FastandEfficientService #QualityTireRepair #ExceptionalCustomerService #AttentiontoDetail #HighlyRecommended #SatisfiedCustomer

Very rude and angry at the person in charge of HI-5 recycling today at 1:35 on8/15/23(just in case anyone at Shell management cares) I will not return here until this dude is gone. He obviously hates his job here. Please be warned!

Since our redemption center in Haiku is closed we now bring our recycling here. Not sure if it's better or worse, but it's also a gas station, in case you need to fuel up or pick up a few necessary items, and even use the bathroom. There's an outdoor sink if you need to wash your hands after handling your recyclables. It seems to be a pretty busy spot as far as recycling goes, and there are people to assist. Very convenient location right in the center of town. I believe you can also get a safety check here.

Thank you for being open late! Had to take our dog to vet emergency and gas light went on. Thankful you were open and we can get home on the Westside.

Grateful for Shell Gas Station on Puunene being able to fix my leaking tire on the spot, especially when another automotive business was not able to find the leak twice.

So nice to find a station that can still do full service. Since Iʻm not ma`a at all to car maintenance, it was good to have my tires and engine fluid levels checked. Will be coming back regularly to have these things checked. The employees were super friendly and helpful.

Had a flat tire on the way to ride the Road to Hana. This place was able to patch us up quickly and, even better, was one of the few places open and available to do so on a Sunday.

I came first thing in the morning (8am) for a safety check. Be patient. Cause at 8am in the morning the station was hot like fyah (fire). I would not want to work in this summer heat. All employees were super friendly and made small talk.

My dad went to this station for service many years. Recently he passed away and I needed to complete a safety check on his car before updating his license to sell his car. They remembered him fondly and were so considerate. Jay was great and when I went back to pick up the car they even washed it! I'd definitely recommended Aloha Shell. Great people.

One of my tires seemed to be slowly leaking. Brought my car here and they found a small nail stuck in the tire. Within minutes they removed it, patched the tire, and put air. Super reasonable price and everyone was very friendly! Saved me from having to buy a new tire! Thank you!
