Much better quality items. Check daily for new inventory. Best deals for great items worth prices.

It may be called a thrift store, but items are mostly priced at full retail. The CFO works in the building and sometimes on the floor, she is to be avoided at all costs... she is unpleasant to put it mildly. The store is very well organized, so things are easy to find. I've found that sometimes they will haggle with you on the prices if you're willing to put in the effort.

So I stopped in at the habitat for humanity once or twice a week there is a helper/salesperson there name Stephanie she is awesome she is knowledgeable about what's on the floor what's in the back what's going to be put on the shelf and she's super eager to get you the best deal possible she always likes US veterans and the story is always fairly neat and always clean and being in Kona there is a let's say nicer selection of junk well I know that I have purchased many many things here and only hoping and wondering if t the money is going to the right place goesAnyway it's always an adventure and sometimes surprising of the things that they have

Fun place to look for household items. Some stuff is expensive but it's clean and the workers are very helpful.

Updating my review as the manager reached out to me an allowed a refund. They did change their policy but now they have signs at the front desk. Thank you!!! Apparently management has changed and new policies are in place without any notification or signage for customers. I frequent Habitat as I like supporting positive non-profit organizations. However, during my last trip, I paid for a used dresser thinking it was all wood and when we brought it outside where there was more light, it turned out that the dresser was veneer. If you've been here, you know the place is dimly lit. The piece of furniture barely made it out the door (it was literally sitting at the door) and I informed the lady that we had thought this dresser was wood and if we could please get a refund. The lady said no. Since I had returned an item in the past for store credit I did not understand why I could not return it and she said new store policy. There are no signs and the guy who charged my card did not inform me. Unfortunately, this negative experience really makes me not want to support Habitat any more. I was wondering where the folks that I used to see over there and were super friendly went. Perhaps they also moved on with the management change. Seems like things will be going downhill for Hab

What a joke. I put my name on a piece furniture, and they sold it out from under me. Never called me. Just lied to me. I will neved donate to the restore again.
