This location needs to work on customer service. Tell me why I waited in line at the register for 5 minutes while the register light was on, for me to finally get to my turn and the cashier aggressively told me he was closed. I've worked at grocery stores before and you're supposed to ring up the people already waiting before you switched your light off. I literally had 4 items and it would've taken him 1 - 2 minutes to do. Instead I had to go wait in another line for at least 5 minutes. I've also encountered very impatient staff in the poke section.
Honestly shout out to the 1 - 2 staff members I've interacted with that were pleasant and professional. Y'all are appreciated.

Grab the best poke you've ever had in your life and head to Kailua Beach Park. The wind will blow sand in it but it's such fine sand it won't matter :-)

The guys in the seafood department really hooked it up on the Poke bowl! - Unbelievably great taste and quality combined wit the lowest price around.
Foodland is extremely good.

Foodland Kailua is a fantastic local gem! The poke bar is a standout, offering fresh, delicious options with friendly staff who even provide samples for newcomers. The store has a great selection of local treats, cheeses, and essentials. Prices are reasonable, and the rewards program adds value. A must-visit for a true Hawaiian grocery experience! 😎

My family came for the Poke. We ate the poke. Then we visited 4 more times during our stay. The poke is affordable but it's also delicious. It was wonderful.

Here for the great poke bowl. Fresh, generous and probably cheapest on the island. Definitely feels like a local only spot ;)
