I never have bad service, or make bad reviews but I can’t believe how my mother and I were treated here. Guy at the register was an absolute douche canoe. He was no help and was making a mockery of us. Friends, family, and I will never be going back to golf there. Horrible service. Plenty of better courses on the island don’t waste your time.

Kukuiolono Park & Golf Course is a COMPLETE HIDDEN GEM on the island of Kauai! We stayed at a high end VRBO in Koloa where we paid high end money to golf 18 holes. As we drove over to the Port Allen area to drop people off for a day of snorkeling (boring), we came across this 9 hole course off the beaten path. Thinking it was just an executive course, was our first mistake. It is a full blow 9 hole course, but if you want to play it as a executive Par 3, they have markers for it. Expecting to pay a hefty price to golf, the cost was $15 for 9 holes per person, and $15 for a cart, that was split per player, costing $7.50 each. We golfed in Kauai for $22.50 for 9 holes.
We went inside and grabbed beers at the bar, and decided to go play 9 more. Since we already paid a $15 "donation" for the green fees, the only cost was the $7.50 per person for the cart. Unreal! We played the challenging 9 holes again, and called it a day.
THE GOOD: Gas carts were awesome. Bar / Food area was clean and the employees attentive. The views from all the holes overlooking the ocean were phenomenal! Greens were well kept.
THE BAD: Cant take beers on the course. Had to drink them in the bar area. Not a big setback for us, but could be if you are beer-golfer, and require swing lube.
You will thank me for making the trip over here to play, Just don't tell everyone, because next time we go back, we will play this course all day. A true value of a golf course for any location I have ever played. Keep up the great work Kukuiolono Golf Course!

Best golf deal I've found in the Islands. Beautiful surroundings, very laid-back clubhouse with a restaurant. Very local.

Unquestionably the worst customer experience and treatment I’ve had ever. I almost never write a review because I have a high tolerance (1x per 2-3 years) but I am going out of my way to write this.
The woman running the golf counter was completely disrespectful and angry in response to fairly basic requests and questions (eg where are the scorecards located?, is there a way for my arthritic injured father who can’t play golf to just ride along without paying?). We weren’t demanding anything just asking questions and then apologizing for somehow triggering her. And then for the next hours you could hear her on the loudspeaker with the same attitude towards people (snarky, aggressive “turn the key!” Etc)
I know people have bad days I am confident with this person running the counter you will lose customers.

Just left. A truly positive experience thanks to Debbie and other members of their team.
I HIGHLY recommend this course. Beautiful grounds. Amazing views and a fantastic setting.
This will now be on the agenda every year when we come to Kauai!

The park was... depressing. It appeared to not be maintained outside of the golf course. The shrines were a shadow of their former selves. Paths and attractions not maintained in the slightest. Definitely shows where the money went *cough* golf course...

$5 for Mini golf on real grass. It was a bit of a challenge due to the “course conditions,” and we all laughed and enjoyed ourselves. After using the driving range and putting green, the three of us rented serviceable clubs and squeezed in after a tournament. No tee times, first come, first served. The course was a kick in the pants, we all had a great time. Will return for sure. When you’re ordering what you want, the older gentleman wants you to be ready and say it all in a certain order. He’s cranky. “Three for a round of golf, three club rental, two women, one man, all right handed.” Restrooms available. They also offer disc golf on select days.

Easily the worst I’ve ever been treated as a customer…anywhere. Tony should not be working at this course. The concept is great, and for a public course it’s beautiful and in good enough shape if you just want to play a fun 9. We had our kids with us (14 and 11) and were just going to have them hit one drive and then do a scramble by playing my from my ball. Tony told the kids stories about how he saw someone get killed at a golf course by getting hit by a drive by their father. He yelled at the kids saying they took too long on the tee box. Trust me they didn’t, and we waited on every single hole for the group in front of us…every hole. He continued to yell at us, and I finally had to tell him that if just stopped yelling at us we could leave. Even worse, he got on the loud speaker for the group behind us and told their family that they should consider using the range instead, that it’s only $5 and they would have more fun than playing the course. He heckled them! Sad, because golf isn’t exactly attracting kids. All our kids were terrified and asked if we would ever need to see Tony again. Way to ruin golf Tony! Live the Aloha spirit and chill out.
