I opened an account in early 2008 when I first moved to Oahu. I have never been impressed. For one my ATM card expired and I was not sent a new one. I requested another and it took over a year to get it after numerous complaints. In 2016 I needed a small loan. 8 years as a customer and A+ credit and was denied. Another Bank approved me. I later bought a home and another bank approved me, I didn't bother going to CPB. What was really agitating is when they returned a check when Cash was deposited to cover it. I opened a case with their customer service and it was marked as closed. They never resolved the issue. It is illegal to charge a fee and return payments when cash is in the account, but CPB obviously does NOT care. I had to deposit more cash so when it was presented a second time it was finally paid. I was charged a return check fee from the place the payment went to and CPB did not cover it. I had started using a competitor of CPB back in 2018 who was there for the purchase of my new home and very helpful and always resolves any issues. I'm threw with CPB, their commercials are nothing but marketing ploys and very misleading. So thankful I now have a Financial institution in Oahu who actually cares. I wish I would've found them first.

I recently requested for a due date on my personal at the Kapolei CPB. I was at the window for 20 minutes waiting while the teller speak with someone over the phone and asking me questions such as what day would I like my date to be and the purpose of the change. After all that, it was then explained to me they no longer offer due date changes because they recently changed their policy. Then why couldn't she have told me immediately instead of waisting 20 minutes of my time and having to answer unnecessary questions. This change doesn't not help or benefit the customer. CPB is the first bank that I have come across that does not offer that option. I would not recommend them

Seriously! When someone comes in for rolled coins, obviously you should offer a bag and band the rolls together! This is how the teller give me the multiple rolls of coins we needed! When did customer service end?!? She had the nerve to act like she gave a hoot about how I was suppose to carry all of this to my car. Please save your fake smile and concern, when you send a customer to their car with $200 in rolled coins with no bag or rubber band to hold the rolls together, you make it easier for a business to say farewell to your sorry excuse of customer service!

CPB (Kapolei Branch) is conveniently located near Costco Kapolei and many of my favorite fast kine dining places. Wendy's. Zippy's. And. Jack.Oh. Cannot forget about my Cuz's house. #1 USMC wife, eva. Free food. 'Nuff said.Oh. The ladies who open up my basic checking are nice to handicap ♿ people like me. Fo real. They so patient. ADHD-2 is a real mental dental diagnosis. Sheesh. Go check da DSM-V. That's "five" like in Superbowl LV. Ugh. Brady. Dat Buc!! Always screws me and twice on Sundays!! It should've been the cutie Elmo QB (Mahomes!! KC 4-eva!!).Ugh. Sorry yah. ? I tired. Bye!!

Last 2 times I've been to this specific bank I've had horrible experiences. This most recent time I came was to take out cash from the atm. Tried to go through the drive through but they have a paper sign on it to use the walk-up one. Maybe due to covid. Went to the walk-up atm, and got all the way to the withdrawal but instead of letting me take out cash, it says unable to complete transaction. And yes my pin is correct because I checked my balance inquiry first. Guess CPB doesn't want their consumers to be able to take out cash outside of business hours. As for the time before this, my gf and I came in just to add her to my checking account so we could have a joint account. Signed our names and was told the wait might be a while. We had nothing else to do so we decided to wait. thinking it wouldn't take too long. But over 45 minutes later, we just decided to leave and try again next time. Especially on a weekday morning. But honestly, I've had mostly bad experiences with CPB. Worst was when I purchased my first home. Not sure why I still do business with them

Just dropped my grandpa off to go to the bank, and they lock the doors and make you stand outside in the hot sun. But the annoying part is the lady opening the door wasn't wearing a god damn mask, and she also ended up helping my grandpa. Your a business, get it together. I couldn't even go in with him, because the lady wouldn't let me in and she was touching his cane... So irritating. Be respectful of people's space. What's the point of social distancing if your not even going to where a mask!!!

Excellent customer service. Please forgive me I forgot the young lady's name who had assisted me with my deposit today. Today 5/29/20 @ 12:26 pm first desk to the right upon walking in. She was also managing the line. In and outside. Teller #11 is on my receipt. She was absolutely stellar. I told her what I would do to not walk around with a mask on. She gave me the option to remove it and I did. She was extremely helpful, kind, tentative, and such a blessing. More people like this young lady needs to walk in faith. CPB you have an amazing asset to your company. This is why I bank with CPB. For your customer service. All you need to do is update your dated mobile platform.

They should call this the f**k up bank because all they do is f**k up. Here is my situation as of today they pulled out money that shouldn't have been taken out and the worst thing about it is they had two full days to change my progress. Especially when I don't have an account anymore, so if they're pulling out the money where is it going to. Hmmmmmm I wonder bunch of F**K UPS.

Always a pleasure going to CPB... it has been my bank since I was 18 years old at the Kaneohe Branch. But I have to say Kapolei is a great one too. Went in and was assisted my Manerva. Made me smile cause my Mom use to say that. Ame when I was little. Very unique and this particular Teller was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Mahalo for answering all of my questions and politely. Aloha and Keep up the good work! Oh and if you are a customer, stop by Kapolei Branch on February 14 for Customer Appreciation Day!
